"Haitori" Zhuque Ehuang is a Marine Admiral hailing from the nation of Kano Country. The eldest daughter of the Zhuque Family, Ehuang is the user of the Tori Tori no Mi, Model: Suzaku, one of Kano's sacred treasures which allows the user to transform into a large and powerful Vermilion Bird in turn making Ehuang a Suzaku Human (すざく人間, Suzaku Ningen).

Joining the marines in 1600, Ehuang would move up through the ranks before eventually reaching the rank of Vice-Admiral before fighting against the armies of the Yonko alliance in 1618 during the War of Empires.

Kano suffering heavy losses during this time and Ehuang losing her husband in the battle. Even so, Ehuang stands strong in her convictions and continues toward her goal of becoming an Admiral to further Kano's standing within the World Government.

In the year 1620, Ehuang would achieve her goal of becoming an Admiral after reclaiming Alabasta from it's Mad King, also earning her the epithet Hero of Alabasta (アラバスタの英雄, Arabasuta no eiyū)

Ehuang practices Pragmatic Justice (現実的正義, Jitsuyouteki Seig), a form of justice that sees her excluding idealism and fantasies to embrace the reality of any given situation, applying justice in reasonable and realistic ways without letting personal feelings regarding the manner in which said justice is served cloud her judgement.

Ehuang is a tall, Kanonese woman of medium build. Standing at eight foot three inches in height with long, unkempt dark brown hair that flows down to her lower back. She is a woman of pale complexion brought on by long standing, unhealthy sleeping habits which see her oak brown eyes adorned with deep bags and dark circles, further making the red of her lips pop out against the otherwise ghostly background of her face which is often sat in a neutral, half-lidded, expression.

Around her neck Ehuang wears a golden chain upon which rests her both her own and her late husband's wedding bands, kept close to her heart, sometimes hidden by a stethoscope. Ehuang herself enjoys dressing in a rather conservative style of fashion, turtleneck sweaters of all manner of color, long blue jeans, her height accentuated by her choice to wear high heels giving her greater height and in her own head, authority in some ways. Hanging from her shoulders can often be found either her admiral's coat when on duty or her lab coat when in her free time.

Zhuque Peng

Ehuang's late husband, Zhuque Peng was former a member of the Baihu family before marrying into the Zhuque family and taking on the name. He would lose his life during the War of Empires during Kano's greatest loss, witnessing the loss of the Seiryu at the hands of the Yonko, Eris, Peng's ship would be one of the many sunk during the battle.

Her younger brother-in-law, the younger brother of her late husband, Ehuang has known Turshen since he was a small child. However, due to her duties as a marine she was kept away from Kano for some time. Ehuang was happy to hear he'd chosen to join the marines though the loss of her husband has made as emotionally distant from the the young man as she's been physically. All the same she intends to watch his career with great intrest in hopes that he too will bring honor to Kano Country.

Kirimoto Aphrodite is the closest thing Ehuang has that may be considered a daughter figure, having held a fondness for Aphrodite for some time, trusting her deeply and above all else, sharing a care for her that comes second only for her love of Kano itself. Formerly her second in command, Aphrodite has since been promoted to the same rank as Ehuang herself. She is proud to stand alongside her former student.

Ehuang would work tirelessly alongside her to help find a cure for the disease that ailed Cheshire's entire family. However, before any headway could be made into such research the War of Empires would start, in which Cheshire would lose her life much to Ehuang's grief.

Powers and Abilities

Physical Abilities

As a Human Ehuang has no naturally occuring racial abilities like that of many other races, however, due to lengthy training and battle experience Ehuang has surpassed the limits of most human beings, only further enhanced by the increased physical abilities granted to her by the consumptopn of the Tori Tori no Mi, model: Suzaku. As the user of a zoan devil fruit, and an awakened one at that, all of Ehuang's physical abilities have been increased dramatically.

Having spent many years of her life in the heat of battle against the enemies of the world government, Ehuang has gained an ability which she had come to refer to as Burning Soul (焼魂, Shōdama) granting her the ability to produce powerful, flames from her body by "Setting her soul ablaze" through the manipulation of vital energy throughout her body, able to use these flames in conjunction with her physical and devil fruit abilities to drastically increase the destructive potential of those abilities.

Hasshoken

Hasshoken is a fighting style hailing from the nation of Kano Country that allows users to utilize vibrations to create shockwaves that can reverberate through objects and opponents. Strong enough to completely break through metal shields or the defenses of powerful opponents it has been claimed that these attacks on unblockable. However, these shockwaves can be nullified and countered by equal or greater forces clashing against them.

Ehuang learned Hassoken during her time in the Kano Navy, mastering it through her long carrier as a marine she is capable of channeling these vibrations to a singular point though a method called Pin Point Hasshoken, increasing the destructive power of Hasshoken greatly by focusing these powerful shockwaves at a single point which in turn allows the vibrations to reverberate deeper through the body causing internal damage.

Qigong

Qigong, meaning "Vital Energy Skill" is a form of traditional medicine practiced within the West Blue island of Kano Country. Often involving the user of acupuncture the doctors of Kano use needles to puncture pressure points throughout the body in order to create a variety of effects. This is done by disrupting the Qi or "Vital Energy" of the patient and in doing so can be used for healing and other medicinal purposes such as physical therapy. By opening or blocking the flow of this vital energy through the body doctors are able to control the path in which said energy takes through the body and in a similar manner to Seimei Kikan activate or shut down functions of the body that a patient might not have any conscious control over.

Allowing them access to controlling things like blood pressure, heart rate, metabolism, and many more functions.

However, over the years the practice of Qigong has been applied to the art of war or martial arts by the many monks and soldiers of Kano, finding out that through the use of Hasshoken alongside pin-point strikes Qigong can be used as a deadly martial art capable of paralyzing or even stopping the heart of opponents. This is done through the same methods as healing. Using the vibrations of Hasshoken as opposed to a needle to strike into the bodies of their opponents to close and open specific energy pathways throughout their body to cause negative effects.

Ehuang is a master of Qigong, mastering its usage not only against others but in utilizing it against herself as well. Able to strike at her own pressure points to unlock positive effects within her body such as passive healing or breaking through the brain's limit on muscule usage allowing her to gain strength and speed well beyond the natural human limit.

She has also learned to use Qigong from afar, using the quills of her feathers like projectile needles, throwing them with percision and skill to stab into the vital energy points of the bodies of her opponents to activate them from a distance.

Through the use of Kenbunshoku haki, Ehuang is capable of seeing the flow of energy through the body, not having to solely rely on her medical knowledge to see and understand the vital energy and the pathways it takes. Allowing her to quickly assertain where and when said flow must be disrupted to have the desired effect. As a result of this ability, Ehuang is not only able to control the flow of her own energy through her body but also how other sources of energy interact with her body, able to guide or spread things like heat and electricity away from vital organs and muscles through her body to decrease damage, enhance herself, or release it.

Devil Fruit

The Tori Tori no Mi, Model: Suzaku is a Mythical Zoan-type Devil Fruit that allows the user to transform into a full and hybrid form of the mythical vermilion bird known as Suzaku, one of the four cardinal spirits of Kano Country.

The full zoan transformation of the Tori Tori no Mi, Model: Suzaku sees its user transforming into a massive, red feathered bird measuring in at about three hundred feet in length from tip of the beak to the tail with a wingspan of three hundred and sixty feet. Through massive the great majority of its body length is taken up by its long neck and tail. The Beak of the Suzaku is long and pointed, capable of piercing through durable objects such as thick metals and stone with ease. Her massive wings allow for speedy and controlled flight as well as creating powerful gusts of wind and even generating tornados in combat.

Long, powerful black talons allow her to easily grasp people and objects on the fly, capable of using them in battle in a similar manner to her beak, allowing her to cut through ships and buildings as well as clash with high grade meitos. Like all zoans the Suzaku grants Ehuang with boosted physical abilities and enhanced senses, the eyesight of the Suzaku is incredible, allowing her to see well beyond what human eyes would regularly allow which enables her to locate and track people and objects from great distances. As a bird Zoan, while in her transformed state Ehuang is able to consume spicy foods without issue as birds are uneffected by capsaicin.

Her physical strength is immense, having awakened her Devil Fruit during the War of Empires, all of Ehuang's physical abilities were boosted, granting her increased strength, durability, and regenerative properties than she'd originally had. Able to lift and throw large and heavy objects with relative ease and comfort allowing her to go toe to toe with the physical strength of fishmen, minks, and even some giants.

With strong, durable feathers Ehuang can walk off blows that would kill or wound most, able to nearly negate attacks from low ranking meito completely depending on the skill of the swordsman in question.

Like all Mythical Zoans, the Suzaku is granted a mythical ability. Ehuang's Mythical ability is know as Burning Ash (かいじん, kaijin), allowing the Suzaku to generate burning hot ashes from its body, an ability used throughout Kano's history to set enemy ships ablaze before they could ever even reach the shores of the island. These hot ashes, when coming into contact with objects or skin stick to them, able to catch objects on fire and cause severe burns to opponents. Breathing in these hot ashes that surround the user can lead to burning of the lungs and even death as a result of suffocation.

Ehuang is capable of manipulating these ashes, able to condense and shape them as well as control them as they float through the air.

Through her awakening in the year 1618, she has gained the ability to unconciously emit and manipulate these ashes to defend her from oncoming attacks in a similar manner in which a logia user might instinctively use their Devil Fruit ability to become intangible, allowing her to focus on offense knowing that her ashes will protect her from attacks. She calls this ability the "Will of Suzaku".

Haki

Haki is a form of spiritual energy that exists within all living beings, however, the grand majority of people and other living things will go their entire lives without learning to harness or manifest this energy. Those who learn to tap into haki can use it to various effects ranging from hardening their bodies to increase their offensive and defensive abilities as well as sense the presence and intent of others. Ehuang is a skilled user of haki in all of its various forms, learning to use advanced forms of both Kenbunshoku and Busoshoku haki in battle. Ehuang is also among the few, especially within the marines, to possess the Color of the Supreme King known as Haoshoku Haki.

Busoshoku Haki

Busoshoku Haki is a form of haki that allows the user to harness their spiritual energy to coat their bodies and objects in their possession in an armor that is invisible to those who have not manifested the power to use haki yet, this basic technique is known as hardening. This armor increases both the offensive and defensive capabilities of the user, allowing them to take and deal more damage to targets than their usual attacks might have allowed otherwise. Busoshoku can be used to cover the entire body if the user chooses, the downside to this being that the more spread out the user's haki is in creating this armor, the weaker it will be. As such, the most efficent use of Busoshoku is to only cover sections of the body which in turn grants greater protection and offensive output.

Though Ehuang considers herself a Kenbunshoku specialist, she has all but mastered the usage of Busoshoku, capable of using its most advanced techniques. Those techniques being that of Emission and Internal destruction, the latter relying on the former as emission is the ability to emit or release their haki from their body to attack opponents outside of their reach. While internal destruction uses emission to destroy targets from the inside out, internal destruction being considered a dangerous ability due to the fact it attacks the internal workings of the body and while one can train the outside of their body to peak physical condition, it is nigh impossible to train or defend the inside of ones body.

By combining the usage of her Devil fruit abilities with that of busoshoku haki, Ehuang is capable of further increasing her destructive output by coating her attacks in her burning ash before coating that in a layer of busoshoku which in turn allows her to add a burning effect to her buso infused attacks.

Kenbunshoku Haki

Kenbunshoku haki, often referred to as observation haki, is a form of haki that manifests within a person as a form of extra sensory ability similar in comparison to that of a sixth sense beyond that of which normal, non-haki using people, can sense. This grants those who use kenbunshoku haki the ability to sense not only the presence of others they may not be able to see with the naked eye but to also sense the intentions, emotions, and even strength of others. Unlike Busoshoku haki, Kenbunshoku requires the user to maintain a calm, concentrated state of mind. Slips in this mental fortitude can cause the user to lose the ability to utilize the abilities granted by kenbunshoku haki until they can regain their senses and calm state of mind.

Ehuang herself is a master of kenbunshoku haki, considered a specialist of observation haki, possessing both the skill and mindset required to go above and beyond even the abilities of those who possess a similar skillset to herself. This can be seen in her usage of advanced kenbunshoku haki, having unlocked and since mastered the usage of Kenbunshoku's highest known ability: Future Sight. By concentrating the powers of kenbunshoku haki Ehuang is capable of not only sensing her opponent's intentions within the moment but going beyond that entirely to see into the future. A rare and powerful ability that can only be countered by someone with equal prowess in kenbunshoku haki. That said, the future seen is not perfectly set in stone or what is seen could be misleading as the user is only able to see a few brief seconds into the future. As such, the user's attempt to change the outcome of events can lead to unforeseen circumstances and changes to what was seen to occur.
