The Yomi Yomi no Mi is a Paramecia type Devil Fruit that allows the user to resurrect after dying for the first time. The user also obtains the ability to manipulate their soul, making them a Reviving Human (復活人間, Fukkatsu Ningen). It was previously eaten by Isidore, and currently by Prince.
The fruit's name comes from yomigaeru (蘇る・甦る,yomigaeru?), meaning "to be reborn, reanimated, resurrected, resuscitated" in Japanese.
Said term is derived from yomi (黄泉,yomi?), which refers to the Japanese underworld, and kaeru (帰る,kaeru?), meaning "to return" (with kaeru changing to gaeru as an instance of rendaku), thus reflecting this fruit's power to return from the afterlife.
