The World is an unnamed planet that is mostly made out of multiple seas, split by a great Red Line, and is consisting of the East Blue, North Blue, South Blue, and the West Blue. Then there is the Grand Line, which is split into two parts, Paradise and the New World.
The vast majority of the world is controlled by the World Government, which is publicly led by the Gorosei.
Overview[]
The world's surface is dominated by the blue sea, which is a body of saltwater broadly divided into quadrants: the East, West, North and the South Blue. These divisions are formed by two natural barriers that bisect the world roughly perpendicular angles. One being the Grand Line, which is a relatively narrow strip of ocean, infamous for its unnatural, rapidly shifting climates and monstrous wildlife, as well as being enclosed by the completely wind, and current free Calm Belt.
While the other is the Red Line, which is a huge and mostly barren landmass that functions as the world's only true continent. All parts of the blue sea contain numerous islands, supporting many different degrees of life. Travel between these islands is relatively simple in the four Blues, but significantly more complex in the Grand Line, where many islands produce unique magnetic fields that render the magnets of ordinary compasses useless, necessitating special compasses, known as Log Pose.

History[]
Past[]
How long the world has existed is unknown, but the current events of this world is taking place a hundred years after the golden age of piracy, leaving the calendar of the world at the year of 1620. Ten years ago, during the year of 1610, the world witnessed the most brutal of wars between the World Government and the Yonko. A war that was so grand it reshaped the power structure of the world, forcing the fleet admiral to take matters into his own hands after two of his admirals had fallen in the war against the two emperors of the sea.
With the World Government coming out victorious out of the war, both sides suffered great casualties. Two dead emperors, the destruction of their empires and crews, the death of two admirals and the resignation of the third. Leading the world itself to require a rebuild from the remnants of the war, both in the pirate world and in the marine world.
