Torrono Njord commonly just going by Torro is a Fishman-Giant hybrid, being a Blue Shark Fishman. And a member of the Jotunn Pirates. He dreams of being the Greatest Tamer in the World. Spending most of his life in Elbaf, Njord was originally a member of the islands military. Having risen to the ranks and becoming a member of the Castles guard. Where he was able to grow a relation with the Heidrun Family.

It was because of this that he was invited to become a member of the Jotunn Pirates, an offer he accepted. Later on growing more skilled. When he eventually returned to Elbaf and became a member of the Ragnarok Pirates.

Appearance

Torro's most noticeable features are the large lines on either side of his face. Representing the presence of his gills due to his Fish-Man heritage. The light blue, rubbery texture of his skin. And his thin, pointed ears. Thanks to being half Giant, he is also abnormally large, standing at 1496 centimeters.

He has a very sharp collection of hair, colored a bright white. With two bangs on either side of his face that stretch down to his chin, with the rest naturally flowing back towards the back of his head.

He has very sharp features, easily identifiable through his deep blue eyes and pointed nose. With a chin that converges on an angle and a set of sharp, jagged teeth. While he has a lean physique, that doesn't necessarily showcase too much muscle.

Clothing

Torro has a loosely fitted white kimono as his primary choice of garment. A black belt locked around his waist, tying it in place. With a blue, deep ocean-colored haori wrapping around his body, he could very easily be confused for a resident of Wano Country due to his clothing. Despite this not being the case.

Personality

Njord can sometimes come off as naive or too trusting. Being too kind for his own good. He enjoys animals and being around them. Even having a pet named Toskr, whom he loves dearly. It is because of this view that he decided on his dream. Wanting to become the world's greatest tamer.

His friendliness doesn't only extend to animals or Toskr. But to people overall. His personality is quite a contrast to his prowess as a fighter. But with his kind nature comes a naive and trusting side. He can be tricked, which is why he often avoids talking to people outside of his immediate group. Coming off as an introvert in how he avoids people.

Heidrun Skadi

Njord is very loyal to Skadi, even with the merge with the Ragnarok pirates. He considers Skadi his captain. While careful to admit that around other members, especially Thyrmr, he has quite a likeness to the giantess, a feeling that he tries to keep secret.

Overview

Consistently learning from a young age and becoming stronger and stronger. Njord is a force to be reckoned with; during his late 20's he became a seasoned member of Elbaf's army.

Njord is a very capable fighter, apart from Elbaf's army. Overall, he is a swordsman, and a dangerous one at that, thanks to his shear size. Even being capable of using a specialized method of Fish-Man Jujutsu that uses a sword as a medium. Referred to as Mizunoken, it lets Njord use his abilities coupled with his weapon. Though that doesn't mean he is weak without a blade, while it is his ideal style of fighting, Njord is capable of using Jujutsu in the case that he doesn't have his weapon. Having needed to have learned it first in order to even learn his sword style.

Njord, being a crossbreed between a fishman and a giant, has absurd amounts of physical strength. While having thick, durable skin that makes it difficult for attacks from small people to effect him. Unfortunately, in exchange for his powerful attributes, he isn't that fast. Even while in water, he's slow.

Strength

Njord has incredible physical prowess. Thanks to the fishman races naturally increased strength compared to humans, combined with the likes of being half giant too. He boasts the combined base strength of both species. Due to his years of training, this level has increased further to the point he is at now.

Endurance

Njord has a body that is incredibly difficult to damage. Thick fishman skin atop a gigantic figure. He is entirely powerful not only because of his physical strength but also because of how difficult it can be to pierce his skin.

Fighting Style

Mizunoken is the art of utilizing the Fish-Man races art of Fish-Man Jujutsu alongside a weapon. In his case, his large katana. With it, he can manipulate water to certain extents. Be it moving water around with the swing of his blade or coating his weapon in water, Njord has a greater amount of control over it, thanks to his consistent use of it and training with the style. With it being his primary method of fighting.

Haki

Njord was well aware of Haki and its usage. Apart from his years of increasing strength, Njord had gained a well-versed amount of skill over it too. Particularly in the art of Busoshoku Haki. He uses it more often than he does Kenbunshoku. Therefore, being less skilled with observation.

After traveling with the Jotunn pirates for years and living with the goal of taking the world’s creatures, Njord was quick to pick up greater skill with Kenbunshoku Haki. As well as further increasing his ability to use Busoshoku haki. However, the greatest triumph he made over those ten years in the form of Haki. Was his awakening of Haoshoku haki, revealing himself as one of the Supreme Kings.

Haoshoku Haki

Very obviously, the Haki type Njord is the least adverse. Njord is still able to use Haoshoku Haki. Though he had only first used it recently, he isn’t competent in his ability to use it as of his return to Elbaf.

Busoshoku Haki

The type of haki that Njord specializes in. Apart from focusing on Mizunoken and his swordsmanship, Busoshoku is one of Njord's primary weapons at his disposal. Using it not only to make him much more difficult to damage, but to further increase his attack strength as well.

Kenbunshoku Haki

Scaling second in the Haki types Njord can use. Busoshoku has always been his focus. So even with learning Kenbunshoku, he isn’t as skilled as some other users who specialize in it. Not to say he can’t use Kenbunshoku haki well. He is capable of sensing the auras and emotions of others near him. Though his range from which he can sense people is not very far.
