The Tori Tori no Mi, Model: Suzaku is a Mythical Zoan-type Devil Fruit that allows the user to transform into the Mythical vermilion bird, Suzaku. Making the user a Suzaku Human (すざく人間, Suzaku-Ningen)

The Tori Tori no Mi, Model: Suzaku is a Mythical Zoan-type Devil Fruit that allows the user to transform into a full and hybrid form of the mythical vermilion bird known as Suzaku, one of the four cardinal spirits of Kano Country.
The full zoan transformation of the Tori Tori no Mi, Model: Suzaku sees its user transforming into a massive, red feathered bird measuring in at about three hundred feet in length from tip of the beak to the tail with a wingspan of three hundred and sixty feet. Through massive the great majority of its body length is taken up by its long neck and tail. The Beak of the Suzaku is long and pointed, capable of piercing through durable objects such as thick metals and stone with ease. Her massive wings allow for speedy and controlled flight as well as creating powerful gusts of wind and even generating tornados in combat.
Long, powerful black talons allow her to easily grasp people and objects on the fly, capable of using them in battle in a similar manner to her beak, allowing her to cut through ships and buildings as well as clash with high grade meitos. Like all zoans the Suzaku grants Ehuang with boosted physical abilities and enhanced senses, the eyesight of the Suzaku is incredible, allowing her to see well beyond what human eyes would regularly allow which enables her to locate and track people and objects from great distances. As a bird Zoan, while in her transformed state Ehuang is able to consume spicy foods without issue as birds are uneffected by capsaicin.
Her physical strength is immense, having awakened her Devil Fruit during the War of Empires, all of Ehuang's physical abilities were boosted, granting her increased strength, durability, and regenerative properties than she'd originally had. Able to lift and throw large and heavy objects with relative ease and comfort allowing her to go toe to toe with the physical strength of fishmen, minks, and even some giants.
With strong, durable feathers Ehuang can walk off blows that would kill or wound most, able to nearly negate attacks from low ranking meito completely depending on the skill of the swordsman in question.
Like all Mythical Zoans, the Suzaku is granted a mythical ability. Ehuang's Mythical ability is know as Burning Ash (かいじん, kaijin), allowing the Suzaku to generate burning hot ashes from its body, an ability used throughout Kano's history to set enemy ships ablaze before they could ever even reach the shores of the island. These hot ashes, when coming into contact with objects or skin stick to them, able to catch objects on fire and cause severe burns to opponents. Breathing in these hot ashes that surround the user can lead to burning of the lungs and even death as a result of suffocation.
After Ehuang awakened the Suzaku she would gain the ability to not only emit these ashes but to take full control of them as well. This allows her to not simply throw these ashes out like projectiles but to form, shape, and manipulate them.
Usage[]
Ehuang was trained from a young age to eventually inherit the Suzaku from it's former user, learning the ins and outs of its abilities and what it was capable of. However, none could have expected the different usages that Ehuang would discover the fruit to be capable of, being the first to awaken the Suzaku in over a hundred years the capabilities granted by said awakening allowing her to further expand the techniques and capabilities of the mythical Suzaku.
Techniques[]
As an experienced and well trained user of the Tori Tori no Mi, Model: Suzaku, Ehuang has numerous and varying techniques using the many abilities physical or otherwise granted to her by her fruit, natural abilities, knowledge, and equipment.
- Bhasma (灰真言, Haishingon lit. Sacred Ash Utterance)
- Zhurong (火の神, Hinokami lit. God of Fire) is a technique of Ehuang's Devil fruit used in combination with her Burning Soul (焼魂, Shōdama) which allows her set her body and in turn, her ashes, ablaze with glorious golden flames. By doing this she makes herself difficult to approach in melee combat due to the intensity of the flames but by lighting her ashes on fire as well she is able to manipulate and control the ashes to cause more destructive damage than what her hot ashes could do alone.
- Hao Tian ( 広大な天国, Kōdaina tengoku lit. Vast Heaven) is a technique that, by flying high into the air and releasing a great deal of her burning hot ashes into the atmosphere Ehuang is able to generate the atmospheric conditions required to generate a pop up thunderstorm. A sudden darkening of the sky as clouds quickly form and gather before bursting, releasing large amounts of rainfall along with the ominous rumble of thunder. The static in the air becomes thick, causing hair and small objects to begin to float upward toward the clouds before with the violent fury of an angry God does a singular, massive bolt of lightning strike down spreading deadly electricity across the area. The deadily potential of this electricity made all the more so by the heavy rain of the cloud burst that preceeds it.
Awakened Techniques[]
- Dianmu (雷の母, Kaminari no Haha lit. Mother of Lightning) a technique that allows Ehuang to use her ashes to create lightning. Based on the idea of Volcanic Lightning Ehuang uses her devil fruit awakening's ability that allows her to control the ashes she creates to mimic the conditions that cause volcanic lightning to occur by grinding her ashes together, creating static electricity which she can then discharge to create lightning bolts or apply electricity to her attacks.
