Tomoe is a Marine hailing from the New World. A former scion of a swordsman clan, Tomoe was brought into a life of opulence under the prestigious sword clan. Her father, a prime figure within the clan was held in high regard for their talent with the blade with all in the family looking up to him, including that of his own daughter. All of that would then become a stain. Leaving his household, news soon arrived of his exploits as a newly christened pirate in the eyes of the world. They became a black stain upon the family's name, leaving a reputation all but dragged into the mud. Due to this circumstance, Tomoe and her mother were banished from the clan, because of the legacy her father brought causing them to fend for themselves in the streets of an uncaring world. This all culminated in a searing hatred for the man, she held most highly causing her to join the Marines out of the chance to forever erase the disgrace of her life.
