"Crimson Jaw" Titanna Saiku is a pirate hailing from Paleos Island in Paradise. Being the current captain of the Jurassic Pirates. Saiku dreams of finding the One Piece in order to become the Queen of the Beasts.

During her youth, she was indoctrinated into the life of a pirate via her father’s crew. Who were the only people she really interacted with during her life. Eating the Ryu Ryu no Mi, Model: Tyrannosaurus Rex, she became a Lizard King Human(トカゲ王人間, Tokage Ō Ningen).

At the time of the wars end, she was preparing to set out to sea. With the hope of rising past the level of her father. To prove to him that she was a good daughter. Though that plan was expedited by the deformation of Volcaines crew. Her departure was chaotic, and barely ended in her survival.

Appearance

Saiku wears a very identifiable tanned white horned skull. With this piece being fashioned in her head without covering her face in any way, apart from that, she has short, pale, untied hair. That which is commonly left out of her view. With a highlight of red contrasting fades appearing further down on her head.

Saiku has dark yellow-colored eyes and short sharp eyelashes. That are below thin eyebrows hidden behind hair that covers her forehead. Thin lips and a very curved facial structure. Oriented cheeks converge in a sharp triangular chin at the bottom of her head. She has a slighty muscular physique, with chiseled arms and rough shoulders.

Clothing

Saiku has a unique sense of fashion, which correlates with her personality. Being a trivial-looking tan bandaged top piece that ends below the chest. Being the only clothing item she has that could be considered a shirt. And a much more civilized bottom piece. Having a thick red band as a belt. And below it is a black puffy pair of pants, with red strands extending back aways from her. Having an origin in the red belt around her waist.

On either arm, she has a pair of bandages, like the ones on her bust. They wrap around her wrists, and contrary to their tan kin, these bandages are red. And around her neck there’s a string connecting a multitude of large black beads into a necklace.

Personality

Saiku usually puts on a stoic, brutey facade. Attempting to fulfill the role of a "hardened fearless leader" that she believes is necessary to have as a captain. Despite often putting on this act, its not difficult to break her out of it. Making it difficult to keep up the lie she puts on. She has a mix of a confident and commonly prideful personality. And can be quite temperamental at times.

Despite her role as a captain, Saiku doesn't really see herself as a leader. Only picking up the mantel of her fallen father, as she believed it her obligation. She often doubts herself or the decisions she makes. And so she is always seeking ways to further her skills, not only physically but also in her ability to lead.

While she isn't extremely intelligent by any accounts, she is still smart. But due to her life of mostly physical work. She never had an opportunity to enter schooling. And thus, never gained any form of legitimate education outside of what her fathers crew taught her.

Though her appearance implies otherwise. Saiku typically isn't very rude. She doesn't distaste combat, but she knows when the time for it is right. Such as when she first interacted with Raisu Ebisu. Though the man wanted combat and she did oblige his request. She attempted to end the fight quick as not to waste time. And even though she mostly keeps a level head. Especially in situations where danger is present. She can be rather clumsy when her guards down. Reacting in exaggerated fashions even at her own dismay.

Saiku has a incredibly flawed perception of her father. By no means was he a role model. Yet her indoctrinated belief labels him as some sort of god. An all mighty man who she strives with every fiber of her being to be like. Because of this, it always comes as a shock to her whenever she hears of something bad he might of done. In most cases, she just chops it down to civilians upset that a pirate acted like a pirate. Misunderstanding that her personnel views of what a pirate is are far different then what Volcaine was. Mostly due to the lies she'd been told about him throughout her youth.

Saiku, during her youth had nothing taught to her that wasn't important in the growth of her strength. She never really interacted with anyone of her age either, aside from slaves. And as a odd result of that, she can be quite susceptible to charismatic tactics. She is prone to embarrassment in the face of compliments. And is easily flustered by a more flirtatious tactic, regardless for her romantic feelings to the person in question.

Ming is a close friend and something of a guide for Saiku. She didn't grow up alongside him, as he traversed the New World alongside her father. However after the war, Ming traveled back and met up with Saiku as she was first forming her crew. He helped her, and taught her what she didn't know.

Pozole Aiko

Aiko and Saiku are close friends, throughout her life, Saiku had been pushed into a role. A role that forced her to be serious, and never show weakness. While even now, she struggles in keeping up this facade. Aiko is one of the few people who she can just drop it entirely with. She can just be herself when around Aiko. Making the women one of Saiku's closest allies, and a great friend.

Powers & Abilities

Overview

From a young age, Saiku was inspired by the tales passed down to her of her father's exploits. Striving to be like him and training herself every day to do so. With the help of some of the crew who lived on the Paradise Island with her, she was able to get strong and was excited by the idea of eventually meeting her father in the New World and showing how much she had progressed in his absence.

With her honed skills, Saiku is a powerful warrior and commonly will just use her hands or claws to fight. Not that she is incapable of using weapons; she simply prefers a more direct approach to fighting. And with her Devil Fruit, her strength increases exponentially. As well as her endurance and ability to take damage.

Strength

Thanks to the tough environment of the island she used to live on and the years of training she put herself through, Saiku has gained an incredible amount of muscle, showing not only in her abilities but in her appearance as well. She can break apart a boulder with a punch, shattering it as if it were made of glass. And her strength is only further amplified through the use of her devil fruit.

Durability

On her own, Saiku is impressively durable. Thanks to her intensive training, she has increased her strength and endurance. And thanks to her fruit's thick skin, she can be even more capable of mitigating damage. In her full fruit form, Saiku has been seen capable of deflecting bullets without issue. Thanks to her already strong body enhanced even further through her zoan transformation.

Senses

Particularly thanks to her fruit, Saiku has increased senses, being able to smell things better. See even in the dark and over longer distances. Though she has quite naturally good hearing, or at least she is sensitive to noise, even a mere bump is enough to wake her from a deep sleep. This can be helpful to her, though it can also be a double-edged sword if someone were to realize it and use her hearing against her.

Fighting Style

Saiku adopted a style utilized by her late father, its capabilities provided by her devil fruit. Via her hybrid transformation, she can combine the agility of her human side with the powerful jaws and strikes capable of a tyrannosaur.

In her standard human form, her style relies primarily on palm strikes. And using the her hands to grapple her opponent. But this changes upon her transformation. Her hands mold into sets of two fingered claws. Which pave way for an abundance of slashing attacks.

Saiku ate the Ryu Ryu no Mi, Model: Tyrannosaurus Rex, and is able to morph into a hybrid or full-form version of the famous predator. Her fruit provides her a massive increase to her overall abilities. Having heightened senses, and enhanced physical prowess. Furthermore, it is tied directly into her fighting style. Which utilizes the claws and sharp appendages provided by her fruit. Because of this, she is most comfortable fighting in her hybrid from. Which provides her access to all of these traits. As well as the boost to her physical capabilities.

Though that's not to say she is at all inadept in fighting in her full form. She has had her fruit for a good portion of her youth. And has gained a level of skill in each of her forms. Including her complete transformation, she can utilize the great height of the Trex to great effect. Exploiting her powerful leg strength to simply stomp over any adversaries in her way. She is also not against using the most powerful jaws of the land to her advantage either. This even being the root cause for her epithet of Crimson Jaw.

Saiku has a lot of skill with her fruit, even during her debut. She has the power to trigger controlled transformations to briefly exploit a particular trait of her devil fruit form. Be it the quick growth of her tail to access a powerful new limb. Or even just molding her skin into a more durable and reptilian form. Though, her most common use of this is to transform her hands. Gaining her claws for deadly and enhanced strikes using her fighting style.

History

Saiku grew up on an island being controlled by the Prehistoric Pirates, left there by her father, who believed it was too dangerous for her to be in the New World. On this island, she grew up with anything but a normal life. Despite his abandonment of her, she admired her father. And wanted to grow strong to be like him one day. Her progression was aided by members of her father's crew, who remained in Paradise to guard their captain's territory. And even though occasionally there would be pirate attacks or even marines trying to take the island, life was quiet, and the only thing bringing any interest was the effort of training. But she rarely ever got to actually test the extent of her skill.

During her youth, she was gifted a devil fruit by one of her father's crewmates. This fruit, being the Ancient Zoan, she would go on to eat. And after that, she began to learn how to use it. Being taught by an ancient zoan devil fruit user of the crew. Who was well versed in how his fruit worked already. And able to pass that basic knowledge of transformation down to Saiku.

Eventually, though, her life was struck with tragedy as all of the crew that she basically grew up around had to leave. Sailing to the New World to reunite with the rest of their crew and fight in the war. This would result in either their deaths or their disappearances as they went into hiding. But most notably, the death of her own father, whom she admired.

She wasn't left much time to grieve, though, as marines quickly came to capture the island. Despite her power, she didn't have the confidence to fight back, only running away on a boat. Living under the radar and unsure of what to do. She just started traveling on her own, until fate reunited her with Guan Ming, who gave her the idea of remaking the crew her father lost. Establishing the Jurassic Pirates and gaining a supporter rather quickly in the form of Pozole Aiko.
