The Tennin Tribe are a race of humanoids native to the White and White-White Seas. They are known for possessing multiple wings all over their bodies, which spawned myths by other sky races who caught glimpses of them.
Appearance[]
The most unique feature of this tribe are their multiple wings that can grow on different parts of their body, mainly their head and back, which can come in many different colors. The wings are too small to actually lift them off the ground but still possess the ability to move independently, much like regular bird wings. Besides that, the tribe shows no real differences from regular humans apart from being taller than average.

Members of the Tennin Tribe have no real biological differences from regular humans, apart from being more adapted to higher altitudes and colder temperatures thanks to the height at which they live.
Interspecies Relations[]
Members of the Tennin Tribe used to be a race that kept to themselves to the point they hid their existence from the other races that inhabited the sky. Very few encounters happened between them, sparking myths about their existence, though some Tennin chose to explore the seas on their own, but it was extremely rare. Recently they've opened up their borders and established trade routes with the other Sky Islands and Blue Sea, allowing the Tennin to explore the world, but because of their time being isolated, their existence still isn't widely known.

Hybrids between Tennin and most other races are possible. Hybrids with other winged races, such as the Birdfolk or Tengu Tribes, cause the hybrid to grow multiple wings that are fully functional but lose the Tennin's racial ability in exchange.
Overall Strength[]
Full blooded Tennins main strength relies on their ability to manipulate clouds using their many wings to serve as "fins" that can help guide the clouds, allowing them to create gusts of wind or even use the clouds to fly. This ability can be deadly paired with dials that can charge up the clouds with electricity or create different types of clouds that can be used offensively or defensively, like iron clouds made by an Eisen Dial.
Weaknesses[]
The Tennin can't create clouds; they have to control already existing clouds, which makes them vulnerable in the Blue Sea if they don't have access to something that can create clouds, like dials or a Devil Fruit.

Past[]
80 years ago, the Tennin Tribe suffered a great famine on their home island, so members of the Royale Family decided to expand and establish trade routes to the other sky islands to help save them before establishing trade routes to the blue sea, making the sky islands more accessible to the people of the Blues and Grandline. This expansion created an adventure "boom," with members deciding to leave their home island to explore the world, with some of them becoming Pirates or even joining the World Government and Marines.
