The Taru Taru no Mi is a Logia-class Devil Fruit that allows the user to turn into, control and create endless amounts of bitumen, making them a Tar Human. Its current user is Caribert Lysandre, Empyrean of the Ars Goetia.

The Taru Taru no Mi takes the form of a grape covered in a dark, sludge-like substance, on which the signature Devil Fruit spirals are present.
Strengths and Weaknesses[]
As a Logia Devil Fruit, the Taru Taru no Mi allows the user to create, control and transform into its element, in this case asphalt, also called tar. Lysandre mostly utilizes this power by creating additional appendages out of his own body, which he then uses to attack on his behalf with surgical precision and great power without needing to enter the fray directly. He can shape them into a variety of forms, such as blades fit for either slashing, stabbing or both, or blunt weapons to deal concussive damage. Courtesy of his mastery over his powers, he is able to freely adjust his tar's hardness and viscosity at a moment's notice, as well as transform based solely on reflex.
The fruit currently has no known weaknesses aside from those of all Devil Fruits: water and Seastone.
Usage[]
Lysandre's usage of the Taru Taru no Mi is extremely refined, with him possessing immense precision and dexterity in its usage as a result of wielding its power for most of his life. He has developed many useful applications of his Devil Fruit's abilities, many of whom are not directly offensive and are simply meant to help him in a variety of different situations. - a show of just how easy it is for him to integrate his powers into everything he does.
