"Heaven's Scourge" Taner is a Marine hailing from the Grandline. Thanks in part to his duty, diligence, and participation during the events of the war, Taner moved up in the ranks of the Marines and gained the position of Vice Admiral.

Personality

Upon first meeting Taner, one would not be mistaken to see the marine as layed back, crass, flirtatious, and playful, but upon second notice, he is more than what meets the eyes. Taner is quite friendly and loyal, making sure to look out and care for his subordinates, along with those who are under his charge, and in doing so earning their respect. When the situation calls for it he’s able to take a much more serious stance to rally his subordinates together and command orders when needed.

Physical Abilities

Over years of service for the Marines, Taners physical attributes have been bolstered into the realm of inhuman abilities. In part due to years of training and combat either it be through catching criminals or participation in the war, the Vice admiral has brought forth strength fitting for that of his position as a New World combatant. Thanks to all this aspects such as durability, endurance, speed, and strength have been brought to their highest level, to the point of being seen as superhuman levels.

Amongst all his bodily capabilities, the one that’s held most prominent above all else is his raw strength. Capable of controlling his power, Taner is able to display great shows of brawn.

Devil Fruit

Amidst his time serving under the marines Taner at some point ate the Ryu Ryu no Mi, Model: Typhon, which is a Mythical Zoan-type Devil Fruit, the rarest type, which allows him to transform into a full or hybrid Typhon at will, making them a Typhon Human and granting them its abilities. In lieu with all Zoan's, this fruit enables Taner to access transformations and traits related to Typhon. Furthermore, it grants the typical physical boosts that Zoan gives and the physiological abilities of Typhon. As Typhon, he gains increased physical capabilities, mainly in the department of durability, endurance, and strenght.

Aside from the physical boons the fruit gifts Taner, another feature it offers is that of its mythical ability. This mythical fruit grants, Taner the power to generate, control, and manipulate the aspects of weather. With it in hand, he can effect, cause, shape, and induce various forms of weather phenomena. Whether it be wind, clouds, thunder, lightning, etc, he can control all areas of weather natural or unnatural. Over the years, Taner has shown a great level of control and utility out of the fruit.

Wind is one of Taner’s most versatile facets of his power. Bending it to his whims, Taner can generate, and manipulate that part of the weather quite skillfully. Its utility can span from things such as offense, defense, and supplementary when needed for any given situation. Offensively, Taner can control the density wind can take, to shape and construct them into a variety of deadly weapons and tools. Such things as the blow of a gentle breeze can be transformed into a torrent of blades dissing up their opponents, air being molded into arms to rip structures apart, or even utilizing it to the degree of using wind pressure to give off the feeling of gravity pressing down upon one's body. Defense comes in the form of generating shields or controlling the flow of air currents. By controlling currents of air, he’s able to redirect the path of attacks. Either by having it veer off its target to fully controlling its direction back onto its enemies.

Taner possesses and is capable of using the ability to use Kenbunshoku Haki. This grants him access to a form of sixth sense that allows them to sense the presence, strength, and emotions of others close and far from him.

Between 1618-1620, it was around this time Taner had begun to undertake duties and tasks in service to the marines. Taner would go on to use the power of his devil fruit to unleash catastrophic weather conditions upon the Yonko territories whether they be outposts, production facilities, etc. Taner would cause destruction to the point that those places of interest would no longer serve any value to them, essentially incurring great losses in regard to places of interest or strategic vantage points they could use for their crew in the midst of the war. Alongside that, he would aid in the defence of marine facilities by stopping invasion fleets on the seas from even getting close to land.

It was also by this time that he would undergo a mission to which he would have attacked a significant territory belonging to the now-fallen pirate crew known only as the Animal Kingdom. There he would come in contact with with one of the higher rangers amongst them, to which they were embroiled in a brutal battle that led to Taners victory and their defect. Leading to the territory falling.

After the war closure, Taner was later promoted, earning him the position of Vice Admiral.

• When drunk Taner acts more like of a perverted drunk.
• An anecdote or fact that was never noted or applied to Taner for explicit reasons was that, he was going to have an identical twin brother who left the family and would have been a pirate. The two were going to be opposites in differing aspects and would have frequently clashed a bit. Though felt it best not to do and solely make him have no deeper ties to pirates outside of his work.
