Tadashi Apollo, also known as Akayagi, is a Rear Admiral of the Marines hailing from Cloudhead Island. He is a member of the Zumi Tribe, having a symbol of a shield branded along his upper back.
Joining the Marines early in his teenaged years, he quickly rose through the ranks, earning himself a foothold as a reliable leader and soldier. Due to his success, representatives of Cloudhead Island granted him the Ushi Ushi no Mi, Model: Furfur, asserting him as the protector and defender of Cloudhead Island.
During his tenure as a Marine, he heard news of the crime families in Hereafter rising exponentially. Leading a group of marines, he dismantled the leading crime families in a large scale battle before they could make moves on the Twenty Kingdom below. Due to his exceptional leadership and planning the battle was won with little casualties, earning him the rank of Rear Admiral and the epithet Savior of Hereafter.
