Hybrids[]
Though the original Stargazers are said to have been born from humans, through untold number of years hybridization has occured. Regardless of which parent the Stargazer takes after, be it a mink, a giant, a mermaid, fishman, or so forth, any Stargazer hybrid will be born with the night sky eyes that the Stargazer tribe is known for.
Overall Abilities[]
Though it is unknown for certain if it is due to some supernatural ability or their nomadic life-style it is undeniable that those of the Stargazer tribe have an unnaturally good sense of direction which in turn makes memebers of the tribe excellent Navigators.
History[]
According to the mythos of the Stargazer Tribe, long ago they were no different than the average human, not yet blessed with the stars in their eyes. However, they were blessed into being through great tragedy as the first members of the Stargazer tribe appeared upon watching a falling star fall into the sea causing a great tsunami that sunk their island. Those who witnessed this event and survived were said to have been blessed with the night sky forever engraved into their eyes.
Ever since then, the Stargazer tribe have been a nomadic people who travel the world in large communal fleets made up of hundreds of ships all linked together by rope bridges creating a mobile 'island' of sorts on which most Stargazers spend their entire lives.
Culture[]
Stargazers are a hardy and self sufficent people, living their lives nomadically in large multi-ship fleets connected by rope bridges as they sail throughout the world. Trading fish and crops for money and other supplies on islands they pass by, Stargazer fleets can be made up of several thousand people at any given time not counting other races and tribes who join them. Among these people fishermen, navigators, farmers, and shipwrights are considered the most important and sought after jobs a Stargazer can strive for.
The primary religion of the Stargazer tribe is Stargazing, a religion that sees its practioners worshipping the celestial bodies of the heavens above. Those who practice Stargazing often map the stars and other celestial bodies, comparing these maps with one another and admiring the beauty of the night sky.
