Sora is an escaped slave from an island somewhere in Paradise. Having escaped slavery after an incredibly violent ordeal, he found himself in the possession of the abilities belonging to the guardian deity of Wano, but unable to make proper use of them.
Not knowing whom he truly is, he desires to explore the world and not only find out who he is deep down, but shape the person he is meant to be.
After escaping from his captors in Paradise, he fled to the West Blue.[2]

Still being barely a teenager, Sora does not possess any sort of superhuman or incredible physical capabilities. This is not helped by the fact that despite being unable to utilize his Devil Fruit, he still suffers the negative consequences; Such as being able to swim, and Seastone draining his energy away.
His greatest shown feat of strength was being able to push off the lid of the coffin he was trapped in, despite having just woken up from being presumed dead.[2]

Despite having an extremely rare Mythical Zoan type Devil Fruit, Sora possesses no knowledge of how to use it. Due to the trauma of escaping his former "home", and the nature of how he consumed it, he cannot access any of its power due to a mental block relating to his childhood.
