Jotunn Grand Spirit is a transformative technique achieved through the powers of the Sake Sake no Mi. By absorbing an excessive amount of alcohol, the user of the fruit can bolster than physical size and strength to levels far greater than normal. This form was created by Heidrun Skadi during her leadership of the Jotunn Pirates and based on the ability of Norn's Kumo Kumo no Mi, Model: Tsuchigumo.
Overview[]
By absorbing an exorbitant amount of alcohol, Skadi can great bolster her size and strength. Skadi views this as assuming her unrestrained Giant power. Her size can vary greatly depending on how much alcohol she has. Her already impressive strength is taken to an absurd level as well. However, the form makes her a larger target. Skadi, to maintain her size, also prevented herself from turning into booze to lose excess alcohol that now constitutes her form.
The form only seems possible by consuming external sources of alcohol, making it rather situation when she could use it. However, Skadi would eventually awaken the Sake Sake no Mi, giving her the power to convert her surroundings into alcohol. As such, it became easier for her to access the form.
Techniques[]
- Ullr Cannon (
栄光 キャノン Ururu Kyanon?, literally meaning "Glory Cannon"): This technique is merely an enhancement to Skadi's Ullr Shot, just to a much larger size and enhanced destructive ability. When used as a bullet, it produces a sphere in size greater than a cannonball. Further, Skadi can use it as a spray of alcohol, to which the force of it is comparable to a pressurized stream. This technique is named for Ullr, the Nordic god of skiing and hunting.
Trivia[]
- The form is named for the Jotunn of Norse mythology. Jotunn are frequently described as giants in non-Nordic sources, though many of them are the same size as average humans.
