The Ryu Ryu no Mi, Model: Fafnir is a Mythical Zoan-type devil fruit that allows the user to transform into a Dragon-Snake. Making the user to be a large, imposing and venomous creature. The devil fruit was eaten by Heidrun Nanna.

Etymology

• Fafnir (ファフニール, Fafunīru^?) means literally "Fafnir" in Japanese.
• Ryu (ファフニール, Ryu^?) means literally "Dragon" in Japanese.

Appearance

First of all, the visual of Fafnir's devil fruit has an exotic and tempting appearance with blooming lavender-coloured petals. It is distinguished from other normal fruits by its spirals all along the pear body, which is accompanied by a curly, greenish stem. Concerning the taste of the devil fruit, it gives off a strange smell of lavender, an odour that allows the target to be attracted like a demon would attract its prey. However, once the devil fruit is dripped, it gives off a powerful poisonous, infamous and sordid odour which nevertheless poses no danger to the user who has eaten it.

Strengths and Weaknesses

The Devil Fruit's ability first transforms the user into a huge Earth Serpent Dragon creature. That is to say, a physique similar to reptilians, having dark and black scale skin, these are accompanied by a slender body at the level of the neck, the chest and the tail which allows the user to be fast, agile and flexible. With four legs, they are adorned with venomous claws and also canines as being known among snakes to eject venom. The size of the body as a Zoan goes beyond the user's ability to use it, some will find it useful to keep a medium size as others grow to the point of camouflaging a landscape.
