The Ryu Ryu no Mi, Model: Bakunawa is a Mythical Zoan type Devil Fruit that allows the user to transform into the Bakunawa. It was consumed by Drachen Kaida, with her calling herself the Blacklight Dragon (黒影人間, Kurokage Ningen?) after her consumption of it.
Etymology[]
- "Ryu" is Japanese for "Dragon".
- The kanji for "Bakunawa" in the Devil Fruit name isn't a direct translation, rather it is taken from Moon Eating Dragon (月を食べる竜 Tsuki o Taberu Ryuu?).

Strengths and Weaknesses[]
As with all Mythical Zoan typed Devil Fruits, the Ryu Ryu no Mi, Model: Bakunawa grants the user the ability to take on the form of a mythical creature; in this case the Bakunawa.
Being that of a dragon, the user receives a plethora of useful and powerful abilities in their transformations. Of note includes the growth of powerful scales, sharp claws and teeth, and a gigantic size and strength increase.
And similar in manner to other Mythical Zoans, the user of the Bakunawa gains a Mythical Ability. Dubbed by Kaida as Light Eating (軽食 Keishoku?), this grants the user the ability to "consume" any light in the area around them, bringing complete darkness. Kaida then increases in strength drastically depending on how much light was absorbed.
As a physiological ability, Kaida gains the ability to belch out highly potent black colored flames.
