Master Raionsan or Master Rai as he is called by his students is the captain of the Full Moon Pirates as well as a former member of the Seven Warlords of the Sea. He became one of Zou's Guardians at the young age of 8 making him the youngest member to join in history and only progressed from their on. When he was 16 he set out to sea himself in search of adventure and as a means to get stronger. It was during this time that he wanted to spread the message that Minks were not to be taken lightly and formed his all-Mink crew that began a campaign of fame and power.

After the War of Empires, Raionsan and his crew returned to Zou and officially made it their base of operations. He also started the Zunesha School of Combat to help Minks grow stronger and help train the next generation.

Appearance

Despite changing a few aspects of his appearance over the years Raionsan's appearance has more or less stayed the same throughout his life, at least his key identifying features have. As a lion mink, Raionsan has features similar to that of a man and a lion. His entire body is covered in his fur that most have described as golden but the Mink himself swears it is yellow and just looks golden sometimes in the right light. His hair looks black when you first see him but upon closer inspection, it can actually be seen as a dark blue color. Like most lions, he has hair at the tip of his tail matching his dark blue hair color. His face also matches his golden fur except for a small patch where his nose, mouth, and whiskers are which is a slightly lighter color. His ears stick out of his hair regardless of their length so he can best hear his surroundings. Other than these features, Raiosan's appearance tends to change based on whatever age he is.

When he was a child Raionsan tried his hardest to make sure even young people respected him and he showed it in how he presented himself. He never cut his hair as he thought it made him look more like a cub and as a result, it was often messy and got in his eyes. He always remained in some kind of tactical gear to be ready for combat at a moment's notice. This usually comprised of some kind of button-up or less restricting t-shirt as well as shorts with many pockets. He also wore a coat or cape of some kind over his shoulders as he saw many older Minks wear them at the time and thought they looked really cool. He also had the tendency to wear war paint under his eyes. He claims that it made him look serious and more like a warrior. However, many of the Guardians believed it was because he had a crush on a female tiger Mink at the time and tried to mimic her stripes

When he grew older he continued to let his hair grow out, not satisfied until he achieved a full mane to wear proudly like a true lion. It was during this time that all his work training his body began to show results as he began to gain definition in his muscles. This could be seen as Raionsan began wearing more revealing clothing. Not merely to show off his body, that was just a bonus. No, he wanted to wear less clothing to show his opponents he was not afraid of them scarring his body, in fact, they welcomed them to try. Although he did often wear black pants of some kind along with a navy blue torso covering, normally an opened button-up or a robe.

When he was in his 20’s his hair was now so long it went down his back. His facial hair began to grow in patches, the same almost white color of his lower face. However, it also began to change to the same dark blue color of his hair indicating he was indeed starting to grow a full mane. However now he fashioned himself a pirate captain and normally kept his jacket buttoned save for the top few. He began keeping his shirt tucked in as this was around the time he began to really get used to his Devil Fruit powers and due to this, his body changed frequently during battle. He didn’t want his shirt to be loose or flowy when he was fighting causing him to have to readjust.

When he reached full adulthood Raionsan called this age his prime as his mane was never as full and rich as it was during this age of his life. He wore his mane proudly and never cut it, even when it began to more or less resemble a wild unfirled beard. He also added a gold belt to his ensemble that nearly matched the color of his fur. The belt doubled as a sheathe for his blade and daggers as well as a nice way to keep his opened shirt tucked in. He kept his black cape over his shoulders as he felt it helped establish himself as a captain.

In his supposed 70’s or at least his elder years His hair grew to a whitish gray color that he still refused to cut. His hair grew so much that it even encompassed his whiskers causing him to style them into his now-styled mustache that looked similar to a handlebar though it is hard to identify it given the size of his beard. His facial hair itself had grown to such lengths that it entirely covered his mouth, stopping just before it passed his nose. Despite his body remaining the same he kept his short buttoned as he had seen the elders of Zou do in the past as he thought it would offer him more respect and poise than if it were unbuttoned. His capes and coats also improved with his age as they often had some gold embellished somewhere on them as if he wanted the world to recognize his status as a Master of his land
