The Modi Modi no Mi is a Paramecia-type Devil Fruit that grants the user the ability to modify the texture, taste, and features of anything inside of the selected environment, making the user into a Modifier Human(修飾子人間, Shūshokushi Ningen).

The user of this fruit is often regarded as a Modifier(モディファイア, Modifaia).

Etymology[]

  • Modi is a shortened version of the word "Modify".

Appearance[]

The Modi Modi no Mi is large and round, having spherical and wisp-like patterns jutting from every which way. The fruit is a blue hue that often blends with the sea, only being distinguished by its black swirls. It has a pair of three dark leaves, appearing wilted in a way.

Overview[]

Strengths[]

The fruit's main strength lies in its ability to modify the physical features, objects, taste, texture, and even the elements in cases of proficient usage by creating the MOD area, similar to how the Ope Ope no Mi's user can create a ZONE. By forming this zone, the user gets free reign over anything in the selected area, with the zone being enough to cover an entire pirate ship to give an insight into size.

Weaknesses[]

An obvious weakness of this fruit is the clear advantage when not in the zone. When out of the MOD zone, the target can still attack the user without any sort of drawbacks. The MOD is not able to move and remains stationary, being stuck wherever the user summons it at. The biggest drawback of this fruit is enlarging the MOD area past its normal size as it could begin to tear the user's insides apart due to the stress and strength it takes to do this.

Usage[]

Techniques[]

  • MOD(モッド, Moddo): The main technique granted upon consumption of the fruit. The creates a huge spherical shield around himself and whatever else is in his jurisdiction. By covering their targets in this area, the user can modify physical features and objects by for example, causing the victim's skin to have bumps of acne burst from their arm area or turn a sword's textures into rubber.
