Japanese Name ミツミツの実
Romanized Name Mitsu Mitsu no Mi
Official English Name Honey-Honey Fruit
Meaning Honey
Type Special Paramecia

The Mitsu Mitsu no Mi is a Special Paramecia-type Devil Fruit that allows the user to generate, control and transform into honey, making the user a Honey Human (蜂蜜人間 Mitsu Ningen?).

Etymology[]

  • Mitsu (?) is the Japanese word for "Honey" and "Nectar" respectively.
  • In many cultures, honey is recognized and used as medicine to overcome liver, cardiovascular and gastrointestinal problems.

Overview[]

The wielder of the Mitsu Mitsu no Mi is given a notable ability to generate and transform any part of their body into a gooey, syrup-like honey, a heavy and viscous honey, or even a sharp and crystalized honey. The user can create any type of honey from basic honey to even Mad honey. This honey can sharpen, thicken, and liquefy at the will of the user, giving them flexibility in both offensive and defensive strategy. When thickened, the honey can be shaped and turned into tentacles, shapes, and weapons, while also conveniently compatible with Busoshoku Haki. As a "special" Paramecia, this fruit's ability to transform into honey is comparable to the elemental transformation of a Logia, making the user immune to attacks that are not imbued with Busoshoku Haki.

This devil fruits ability to restrain opponents is unparalleled. The user can create towers of dense honey capable of entrapping a large number of opponents at a single time.

This devil fruit has the potential to become stronger, more dynamic, and much more lethal after it's awakening. When awakened, this devil fruit can transform their surroundings into honey with the ability to generate an ample amount of honey, folds more of what could be produced before with a much sharper handle.

Although powerful, the honey can be edible by any opponent. Other than that, the user is also affected by the standard Devil Fruit weaknesses.
