古典の研究 : ラギマ Koten no Kenkyū: Ragima?, literally meaning "Traditional Wisdom: Weightlessness"): By compressing and intensifying the flames generated into a focused, jet-like propulsion under his feet, Augustine transforms the entirety of his lower body into these flames which not only enhances his speed and agility but also allows him to achieve sustained flight. The controlled combustion and directional precision of his flames allow him to navigate through the air in multiple ways. He can adjust the intensity and direction of the flames, enabling him to ascend, descend, and change directions swiftly during flight. It is an unconventional method to achieve Flight like many others of the Logia category are capable of doing. The technique was first preformed as Augustine jumped off a roof and executed the technique during his pursuit of Tai Lung,[2] which easily allowed him to cut the latter off. Laghima refers to a supernatural ability achieved through spiritual practice known as a siddhi, which focuses on achieving near-weightlessness.
