Memorial Island is a man-made island located within eyesight of Marineford in the New World. Created as a monument to the brave marines and other World Government allies who bravely gave their lives during the War of Empires.
General Information[]
Memorial island is an island constructed by the World Government to honor the dead who bravely gave their lives combating the Yonko alliance during the War of Empires, a man-made island taking the form of a park and nature reserve holding a large collection of statues and monuments to the fallen. Not a single body is buried on the island, the island being created for the sole purpose of memorializing the dead.
The island remains under construction, many monuments and statues not yet being completed.

Memorial Island is home to one hundred grounds keepers whose sole job is to maintain and clean the grounds and monuments.
