Overview[]

The Tian Tu Zuo (
This stance shifts the user's focus to their lower body, narrowing their strength into their leg muscles and leaving their arms free to be used as tools for defense, though they are mainly used for balance in most circumstances. Much like the rest of the style, the user wastes no movement or energy as they move their legs, each twitch of their muscles contributing to the strength of the limbs.
Due to being based on Geppo, the stance excels at aerial combat because it keeps the core principle of the technique as the foundation for its own ability. Using the strength of their legs, the user is capable of "kicking" off the air itself, allowing them to move through it in ways those who lack flight may not be able to. Unlike the normal use of the technique, however, Shen is capable of remaining in the air indefinitely, whether by making himself lighter to slow any descent or ascending further through the "steps" employed by this stance.
This stance focuses on the lower body, which in turn maximizes the efficiency of Geppo as a whole, though as an addition it empowers the stance's main method of attack: kicking. Kicks performed in this stance carry a much greater force behind them, being enough to send opponents or even terrain flying. Each kick carries enough force to suspend the user in the air normally, which can be empowered further through methods such as building up momentum or kicking targets into the environment around them.
Like all stances of this style, the Tian Tu Zuo also bears the ability to interact with the world around Shen, allowing him to control the elements at the peak of the stance. This stance in particular uses the generated force to manipulate the earth itself, with precise taps of the foot finding fault lines in the ground that can be exploited with powerful stomps, kicking up anything from debris to be launched at a target or slabs of earth to defend oneself.
Techniques[]
Tian Tu Zuo[]
- Tu Bu (
完璧足捌 Tù Bù?, Chinese for "Bunny Steps", Japanese for "Flawless Footwork"): This style's version of Geppo, and what Shen regards as a perfected version. This technique is mainly used as a mode of transportation, however unlike its parent it is capable of being used to traverse the air by performing these "steps" in a sequence, rather than simply being able to suspend the user. This technique is also capable of being used to cross liquid or unstable surfaces, such as water or quicksand, while not breaking the surface tension of the aforementioned terrains.
