LAUGH is a substance extracted from an element, often called the "esscence" of an element it can be consumed to give powers similar to Logia and Special Paramecia-type Devil Fruits
Appearance[]
Laugh is a liquid substance created through the process of extracting the "esscence" of an element and bottling it up. The process is different for every element and can even be done on man made substances. By extracting this esscence named "LAUGH" it takes the form of a red liquid said to have a putrid and bitter taste when consumed.

In terms of appearance alone LAUGH is similar to that of SMIRK, however, unlike SMIRK, which requires injection in order to gain the effects, LAUGH is instead consumed. Upon consumption it is said that LAUGH leaves a bitter and putrid taste in the mouth not at all unlike Devil Fruits themselves. After upwards of a minute a painful process will begin to occur within the body as the stomach absorbs the LAUGH it will transform into "Core" of the granted abilities. A sharp and almost unbearable pain will be felt and continue for several minutes before the fate of the user is decided.
LAUGH subjects are not guaranteed success and the price for ones body rejecting LAUGH is a heavy one. If ones body rejects LAUGH the one who consumed the essence will find themselves permenatly stuck as the element they have consumed. Still able to control said element as though it was successful, their body is forever unable to transform back into their natural state but still remaining tangible and able to be touched. The first concern to someone whose body has rejected LAUGH should be the element they've been transformed into as should they be subjected to other powers or conditions that may force them to change states they will simply die as they will no longer be the state or substance that they are able to control.
Successful users of LAUGH will find their stomach as become the core of their element and it is from there that all trasnformation into their element will occur. Their midsection capable of transforming instantly while their limbs tend to slightly lag behind as a result of this, LAUGH requires the user to transform into their element of their own will. It cannot be trained to be done or instinct or as an unconcious reaction meaning the users perception of his/her surroundings must remain sharp. Even so, due to the sheer power that logia and Special paramecia type abilities tend to display some believe this small trade off and the possible dangers are worth it for the possibility of gaining the power to infinitely produce an element or substance of their choice.
