Kusanagi no Tsurugi is a cursed blade wielded by Igarashi Minato, formerly owned by her father it was returned to her upon his death during the War of Empires. It is a single edged Katana, its edge is lined with seastone and is believed to have been crafted in the nation of Wano Country many years ago.

Kusanagi no Tsurugi's edge is lined with Seastone, allowing it to weaken those who use Devil Fruits. However, as a cursed blade, the blade has come to be known as being cursed with Bloodlust. Anyone who wields the blade will be overcome with the intense desire to kill their opponent and even should they resist the blade takes on a mind of its own, redirecting attacks toward vital areas and purposely cutting deeper than the wielder may intend. Once drawn the blade refuses to be sheathed again without tasting blood, it does not matter if that blood is that of an opponent, a friend, or even the user themself.
