Kumodo is a sword style developed by the Arachnoids, and it's the sister style of Mushido. It was developed using the same Poneglyph and revolves around extreme offense and agility.
Overview[]
Developed by an unnamed Arachnoid, its main focus is using one's muscles and speed to drastically increase their offensive capabilities and finding the right time to strike to bypass any defense. Slashes from a master of Kumodo take a long time to heal and are specifically cut to cause bleedout. Like Mushido, it has different modes specifically made to boost one's offense.
Users[]
Techniques[]
- Hogna Wolf: Considered the "default" technique that users of Kumodo use in all of their slashes and is especially heightened with Jumping Spider. This technique allows the user to sense the body heat and blood flow of their opponents, allowing them to instinctively cut in such a way to maximize the most damage, making cuts harder to heal, close up and maximize bleedout, which can be especially deadly if combined with the venom Arachnoids possess.
- Huntsman's Web: By focusing one's senses to the extreme, users are able to utilize anything they are touching as a "web," allowing them to sense anything that touches that object; this includes stuff from tree roots or a small area of ground around the user, though it can take years to reach that point of mastery. This skill could also be enhanced to the extremes with the help of Kenbonshoku Haki.
- Iron Spider: A technique of Huntsman's Web, it allows the user to enter a flow-like state that makes them slash at anything that comes into contact with the "web." Similarly to Mushido's Impenetrable Shell.
- Jumping Spider: This technique allows the user to compress one's muscles to allow them to slash at faster speeds and increase their slashing power drastically or allow them to jump across massive distances, allowing them to boost their evasive and offensive speed. This skill is also boosted by the fact that arachnoids have hydraulic-like muscles, allowing them to compress much more effectively.
