Krogon is a young Horned Lizard-Man and captain of the recently formed Scale Pirates, while also currently being its sole member. Being both new to piracy and in his youth, Krogon is a rookie pirate currently roaming Paradise.
Appearance[]
Krogon is a relatively tall and imposing Horned Lizard-Man, with a lean but muscular build. He has emerald-green scales that shine like iron and gleam brightly, while also having darker and rugged patches of scales on his shoulders, back, and forearms. His eyes blaze like hot yellow fire with an intensity of purpose, and he wears gold bangles around his wrists, which glimmer against his scaled skin and make his fearsome form a little more grand.
Personality[]
Krogon's is a very bold, headstrong and reckless individual. He is more prone to throw a punch than to spare a word; his fists speak louder than any words he might say. He would rather be doing than talking and has a very strict personal code, in which strength and freedom are the top virtues. His confidence borders on cockiness, and he has no qualms about challenging anyone who questions his strength or authority, no matter their rank or reputation.
The thrill of battle, the call to adventure—it ignites his soul, and he finds it hard to tame the fire. He throws himself at danger without a second thought, charging headfirst through any situation with little regard for consequence. Living in constant risk and uncertainty, thriving in the rough life of the seas, embodies the wild spirit of a pirate who answers to none but himself—this is Krogon.

Physical Abilities[]
Strength is Krogon's defining attribute, and that natural strength is further supplemented by his Giant Scale abilities, making him a powerhouse among rookie pirates. Raised in Salt Marsh as a Horned Lizard-Man, Krogon grew and developed in the ways of his people, honing his strength through years of intense training and from the Sea King-hunting lifestyle of his race. As a matter of fact, even without activating his Giant Scale ability, Krogon can lift and crush boulders, snap solid wood with a flick of his wrist, and overpower most human opponents in raw physical strength. He is able to carry heavy loads over rough terrain and can even break through the hulls of ships with a single swing.
When using his Giant Scale Transformation, Krogon’s strength doubles, allowing him to lift objects several times his own weight and create large shockwaves with his strikes. In this state, he can go toe-to-toe with mid-sized Sea Kings or even smaller giants, capable of shattering stone walls or cleaving entire sections of ground with his horned maul or tail slams.
In terms of movement speed, Krogon is above average for his size, but he relies mostly on his strength rather than speed or agility while in combat. That being said, he's certainly no stranger to bursts of speed; years spent running and swimming through the Salt Marsh have hardened his leg muscles, allowing him to perform high-speed maneuvers without formally training in advanced techniques, allowing him to close distances relatively quickly, much to the surprise of his opponents.
When using high-pressure blasts from his horns, Krogon can move much faster in bursts, closing distances quickly or dodging incoming attacks. These blasts allow him to jump forward or backward and increase the speed of his swings, enabling him to land sudden, powerful blows. In water, his blasts give him a propulsion effect, improving his maneuverability when swimming.
Due to his dense, iron-like scales, which act and work as a natural armor, Krogon is a highly durable fighter. His scales reduce the damage of physical and bladed attacks. Bullets usually glance right off his scales, while light cuts or blunt strikes have little effect. Only high-quality weapons, powerful Haki-filled attacks, or piercing attacks focused on weak points are capable of breaking through his very tough natural durability.
While in his Giant Scale form, Krogon’s muscles and scales harden further, allowing him to absorb even greater damage. He can take multiple cannonball hits or withstand direct impact from powerful physical blows without succumbing to them. However, continuous attacks from powerful foes or sustained elemental attacks can eventually wear him down.
Giant Scales[]
Due to being a Horned Lizard-Man, Krogon has acesse to the Giant Scale ability. This natural ability allows Krogon to "inflate" certain parts of his body by drawing in air or water through the vents in his hollow horns and scales. This increases his size significantly, enhancing his strength and physical power. He can apply this inflation selectively to different body parts, which gives him versatility in combat. When fully inflated, Krogon can grow up to twice his original size, giving him a massive and intimidating presence.
