Etymology[]

  • Mineral (こうこうのみ kouseki?) means literally "Mineral", "Ore" and "Crystal" in Japanese.

Appearance[]

The fruit has been described as a dragon fruit, on the spirally decorated surface are rows of petals. The colour of its petals is similar to precious stones but gelatinous at the same time, simply showing a shine when seen in the light. When the devil fruit is bitten, the interior - despite the thin gelatinous layer - is slightly sandy and has a very bland taste.

Strengths and Weaknesses[]

  • The devil fruit has many strengths such as offensive and defensive. As Logia, it allows you to create any type of shape such as making a giant wall, arrows but not only that, it can manipulate and modify the environment including the earth being made of minerals.
  • To date, no weakness has been known unless the user is bold and knows how to use its fruit. Like all Devil Fruits, its worst weaknesses are Sea Water and Sea Stones.

History[]

Past[]

The story of the devil fruit was discovered in the stone carvings of the Corindon Tribe.

From a distant time, the tribe was once two tribes. Each had controversial cultural values that were totally opposed to each other, which is why a civil war broke out very regularly to own the land. However one day, the love of two people from two different tribes grew within them. Both had to see each other in secret, far from the oppression of their difference, the lady turned out to be pregnant and had to hide her pregnancy as best she could. The lady was forbidden to see her love again, who was the child's father. Growing up in a separate environment and not knowing his father, the child as mature as a wise man had eaten the devil's fruit which seemed eternally delicious and captivating. The child gained such power, stopping the civil war he was against. A devil's fruit brought together the two great loves to make one big family and one tribe, calling for peace and an end to war because it only brought loss and great sorrow.

Thus, they transformed the two tribes of Corun and Rundum into one tribe named, Corindon
