Kirimoto Persephone is a human hailing from Paradise. She's currently a marine serving with the rank of Vice Admiral after risking her life to destroy an underworld facility supplying the yonko. She dreams of creating a world free of evil, and believes in Passive Aggressive Justice.

Appearance

Persephone has a rather simplistic yet still stylish appearance. Her hair is a golden shade of blonde. And long enough to freely flow down her back. Yet, stopping around the waist. And her eyes a dark brown, contrasting her fiery personality. With a rather curved face structure and a sharp chin. She has a rather well-maintained physique. Despite her liking for sweets, she has a muscular body. And a mostly curved body shape.

Persephone's choice of clothing is something quite unique. While being of a high rank in an organization like the Marines. She doesn't care about formality—that much is present in her marine coat. A white basic design, which she has ripped the bottom half off of. And while wearing it with the sleeves on, her fire burns the sleeves, rendering them also worn.

Underneath, she has a reactively simple tank top. Which on its own has little to show. Being merely a clothing piece of a basic black. But the image on it is that of a tiger within a ring of fire. It is a colorful addition to the top and is a hint into her personality.

As for her lower body, Persephone keeps the pattern of the basics. Having little more than a pair of jeans colored a naval blue. With slight rips around the knees, which merely are the result of excessive wearing. And a set of black boots made of rubber. However, she also has a stylish belt, a light brown shade of leather making up its texture. And a buckle, which is an orange and red flame.

Personality

Persephone has a very mixed personality. She doesn't care much for formalities and anything high class. She is mostly positive in her own way, she can come off as rude on occasion. And while she might not seem like a good leader. Her strength and will have carried her through countless missions with a very good record of success.

She is very protective of her fellow marines, particularly those below her own ranking. While she trusts they can handle themselves, she won't hesitate to aid them. While she won't rush in blindly in any scenario. She won't stop trying to succeed until all chances have been exhausted.

Persephone has a very cunning wit, if her raw strength isn't enough already. She is a very analytical marine and a good planner who will use her abilities in creative ways. While being intelligent isn't her most perfect trait. It certainly aids in her status as a powerful Vice Admiral.

Separated at birth, neither Persephone nor her sister knew each other existed in their childhood. This lack of knowledge extending into their adult years. Before finally, as the two climbed the ranks, Persephone recognized her surname in the papers on a woman who was not herself. And after interacting for the first time, the two learned of their relationship.

Samantha is Persephone's only student, and despite the platonic love she has for Sam, she by no means goes easy on the girl. Her training methods, while effective, can be brutal and unforgiving. Even though she never orders training that Sam wouldn't be able to handle. The line between training and torture can be very thin.

Overview

Persephone is a incredible fighter, who lives up to her rank as a vice admiral. While she has no devil fruit unlike her sister. She is remarkably strong, and tough enough to handle her own quite easily. Where she lacks in an assortment of abilities, she more then makes up for with her brute strength and grit.

Fighting Style

Rokushiki

As a Vice Admiral of the Marines, Persephone's skill over Rokushiki is nothing to underestimate. She is a skilled wielder of the six powers; however, no more than that. While she has an adequate level of strength in Rokushiki for someone of her rank. Much more time has been invested into the development of Kurenaiken and her physical attributes. So much so that she doesn't often use Rokushiki. Preferring for her more volatile style over its precise efficiency.

Kurenaiken

Persephone's personnel fighting style, while she isn't against using Rokushiki. This is her main tool in her arsenal—the ability to ignite her fists. Turning already deadly weapons into devastating tools to bring pain to her enemies. Not only is she a wielder of Kurenaiken, but she is the one who created it. And is a master of its abilities, expertly fusing her brute strength with her fighting style. It is said she can ignite a entire forest with a single punch using Kurenaiken. And currently, only herself and her beloved student are capable of utilizing it.

Haki

Persephone is a well versed user of haki in both varieties. She has a strong will and in turn powerful haki.

Busoshoku Haki

Persephone is a skilled user of busoshoku haki commonly coated her fists in it for a devastating and powerful punch. While a very simplistic method of its utilization. She does it often and has honed the practice of using haki to the point that her punches can shatter boulders.

Kenbunshoku Haki

Persephone has the ability to use kenbunshoku haki to sense the presence of people of a large distance. While Busoshoku Haki is her preferred type, she is still skilled in Kenbunshoku nonetheless.

History

Past

Persephone was born in Paradise, but was taken away from her place of birth. Both herself and Aphrodite unaware of each other's existences. Being taken to another island after accidentally stowing away on a ship. Growing up there in an orphanage, a heavy marine presence on the island inspired her to enlist. Doing so years later as a teen. And ever since then, she had been accomplishing missions and rising in the ranks.

1618

During the early stages of the war, Persephone was tasked with the destruction of an underworld island. Controlled by Terrestrial who were using it to provide the Animal Kingdom with weapons and miscellaneous supplies. Bringing in a small task force of a single ship to survey the island. She quickly discovered that they were aware of her arrival. And had prepared an ambush in advance.

After a long and hard battle, many troops had fallen on both sides. She made it onto the island and into the facility, which held most of the supplies. Going on a rampage to destroy everything around. She was soon surrounded by hordes of island guards. And in one last-ditch effort to destroy everything, she blew up a bomb and took cover.

The explosive created a chain reaction, which caused the facility to fall into ruin. Collapsing in on itself and leaving the Terrestrial operation a failure. Whatever remnants of the group who were on the island all fled the scene. Persephone was thought to have died in the explosion.

Only hours into the cleanup, though, she was found, barely clinging to life. Carried off the island, she was placed in medical care. Spending the next few months in a coma before awakening. And because of her selfless sacrifice and success in the destruction of the facility, her rank was raised to Vice Admiral.
