Kairos Thieron, most commonly referred to by his epithet "Titan", or less commonly by his other epithet "Dark Knight", is the Admiral, or Supreme Commander, of the Pantheon Pirates. He is a notorious New World pirate having rose to prominence in the 1590s.

The Dark Knight reigns as the dictator of Nyxis and has wide influence in criminal networks such as the Underworld.

He is the patriarch and head of the quite large Kairos Family, whose many children make up the infrastructure of his crew.

Unbeknownst to most people, Thieron is a former Marine trainee, having served in his adolescent years as an apprentice then eventually a soldier. This happened when a massive recruitment took place on his native island; the young Thieron, ambitious, valiant, strong and especially very impoverished, did not resist, as he believed he would get stronger and, more importantly, escape his miserable condition. Ultimately, the young adult, having succumbed and fallen victim to the seduction and attraction of the seas that called him, and disgusted by the degree of corruption and unjustice that the World Government could show, left the ranks of the Navy for good, starting his career as a pirate.

His ultimate ambition is to transform his territory, his domain, into a powerful and frightful army-nation that could rival, and ultimately, overthrow the World Government. And to do so Thieron, throughout his career, only gathered more and more of his own men and gained more and more influence in the Underworld, so that one day his forces would be large enough and strong enough for the war he only dreamed of winning and officially become the Strongest Man in the World (世界最強の男, Sekai Saikyō no Otoko^?).

Appearance

Thieron displays an imposing build to say the least, since his tanned figure of mid-life age stands at a staggering height of 609 cm (20'0"). The sheer volume of his musculature makes dwarf the average individual of this world; and yet unlike the majority of other very tall people, his body is pretty well built and proportioned. His broad and well-muscled torso, his wide neck resting on his massive shoulders, his strong, robust and thick arms and his legs of athletes contribute to shape the powerful and intimidating presence he displays. At the end of his substantial arms are disproportionally large hands, acting as the only parts of his body being non-dosed. His square-shaped face features very pronounced facial features, such as very thin brows that frame piercing bloodstained-red eyes, and a sharp jawline, exuding an intensity that adds character to his persona. His facial features are characterized by a hook nose and well-defined cheekbones. Thieron is usually seen with a stern expression and has moderate wrinkles, with his laugh lines being particularly prominent.

Thieron's unique and characterful appearance is further enhanced by his long black hair that falls to the middle of his back. The arrangement of his hair, braided in thick dreadlocks and separated into many strands, out of which two only outline his striking face, is particularly noteworthy and supplements his singularity. Under his chin is proudly raised a long and thick beard cascading to the level of his pair of pectorals, adding to the charismatic and mesmerizing aura of his facial features, while a thin mustache completes the set.

Charismatic, striking, commanding and distinctive. That’s basically how Thieron’s appearance could be described. Born a harmonious blend in which all the details count, from his facial features to his well-built body or his size that earned him the epithet "Titan", his very presence exudes an aura that even the majority of the greatest leaders and figures of this world do not have. His blood-red eyes, beard, and dreads, combined with his piercing gaze and perpetually severe expression, help shape his imposing and hard-to-miss image as a fearsome pirate captain.

Despite the countless battles in which he participated, his body bears only two scars. The first, a roughly round scar, is a massive, irregular mark on his lower abdomen, to the left of his navel. It looks more like a large trace running down to his back at about the same point.

He sports his second scar, once again, on his abdomen. This one is a long, massive jagged line, starting on the lower half of his abdomen, in his other scar, and extending up to his right deltoid at an angle. These two marks are a testament to the violent battles he has endured to get where he is, and who better in this world than an Emperor of the Sea to leave you with an everlasting proof of your legacy? In fact, these two marks were inflicted on him by Heidrun Thrymr, the Jotunn of the Ragnarok Pirates, who left these marks on Thieron's body with two decisive blows.

Thieron is the patriarch of a very influential New World family, the Kairos Family. It's made up of Thieron himself, the patriarch, and his 40 or so children. All are members of Pantheon Pirates, some of them even exceptional fighters in their own right.

Powers & Abilities

Seimei Kikan

Main article: Seimei Kikan

Thieron is able to use Seimei Kikan, giving him total control over his physical functions, even those that are not controllable in the first place. He is a seasoned user of this technique, often using it in combat to extricate himself from otherwise disastrous situations. In his fight against Heidrun Thrymr, he used the Seimei Kikan to move his internal organs as the Yonko pierced his abdomen with his spear, removing all vital organs from the spear's path and avoiding life-threatening damage, although he was later forced to constantly use the technique to keep his organs in place so they didn't spill out of his body. Much later, in his fight against Erabatama Yushin, he used this technique to put his neck back in place after a blow from the samurai had put and frozen it out of place.

Devil Fruit

The Uo Uo no Mi, Model: Shenlong is a Mythical Zoan-type Devil Fruit that allows the user to transform into a full and hybrid form of the mythical spirit dragon from Chinese mythology known as Shenlong, the dragon god of the tempest.

The full zoan transformation of the Uo Uo no Mi, Model: Shenlong sees its user turn into a massive, blue-scaled oriental dragon measuring in at more than a thousand five hundred feet feet from its head to the end of its tail. Although massive, the body of this beast is relatively thin, resembling that of a snake to which one would have just given four legs. On its gigantic head, larger than the majority of structures ever built, stands two horns resembling antlers. Its serpentine body is covered on its entirety by extremely durable azure scales, allowing him not only to take, as if nothing had happened, blows that would have been lethal for any human, but also increasing Thieron's natural durability by a huge factor.

Like every Zoan, the Shenlong grants Thieron increased physical abilities, adding a new layer to his already extraordinary abilities. To name one, this fruit increases the physical strength of its ferocious user, making him able to lift and throw objects of immense size with disconcerting ease or to hold head and default giants without ever sweating. To add to this, this fruit endows him with very sharp senses, especially its exceptional sight, allowing him to identify and track, even in a crowd, an individual or object he'd seek, from a long distance, and this even in his gigantic full form.

Like all Mythical Zoans, this fruit gives its user a mythical ability; In the case of Shenlong, reigning as the absolute dragon master of the heavens, Thieron is endowed with the ability to create, manipulate and control storms. And this is not just limited to lightning; it also extends to the wind itself, which he can use as a tangible thing and a genuine extension of his body and abilities; Both in defense and offense, this is the case.. Like a king surrounded by his procession, Thieron brings rain, wind and lightning with him wherever he goes, darkening the sky in each of his movements. Being able to manipulate the wind, Thieron can glide on the air like a surfer on a wave, giving him total control over his velocity and allowing him to reach mindblowing speeds, leaving in its wake an aspiration capable of laying buildings on its own. By twisting his massive body, and even without, Thieron can create tornados, as powerful and fast as only a few were ever found, which can blow his enemies off the battlefield and into the air. Also, he is able to generate invisible slashes with the wind itself.

As the undisputed master of tempests, it was only natural for him to have control over lightning too. A holder of this Zoan power can create and control electricity, effectively becoming lightning incarnate. True dragon of lightning, his presence brings with it storms worthy of a northern god. He can also unleash devastating blasts of lightning from his mouth, which can instantly deal significant damage to or fully obliterate large structures. By breathing lightning in the shape of a dragon around his body, Thieron can coat himself with a layer of electricity so intense and hot that he can instantly melt the substances that come into contact with him and electrify anyone would even stand too close, which discourages physical attacks and melee-combat.

His mastery of his fruit is such that he is no longer limiting to just emit these phenomena; he has total control over them. This allows him not only to throw these elements as projectiles, but also to form, shape and manipulate them as if they were genuine extensions of his own body, and this, even while in his human form.

Being a very seasoned and formidable user of his fruit, it was only logical that he should awaken it. Indeed, having awakened his fruit a few years ago, Thieron unlocked another level and entered a realm of his own, in every sense of the word. This new ability then allowed him to make the elements under his control tangible, making those able to be interacted with like solids. Whether lightning, wind or clouds, they all have no choice but to solidify when ordered to do so by Thieron. With this power, he proves capable of creating highly complex structures, such as cages, giants, or even hordes of clones. But this power also brought another asset to Thieron's offensive palette, namely the ability to imbue those elements with Haki, but only if they are made tangible beforehand.

Haki

Haki is a term used to describe the mysterious power that exist within every living creature, allowing the user to harness their own spiritual energy for various purposes. The power of Haki is said to be the true defining factor for those whose desire to conquer the seas, being "the one force which dominates all others".

Thieron belongs to the elite, that small group of individuals capable of using the power of all three forms of Haki, having mastered Kenbunshoku and Busoshoku respectively, as well as the very rare Haoshoku, known as "The Color of the Supreme King".

Through fighting against and training with powerful Haki users in the New World, in particular, those more or less related to the Four Emperors, in addition to the Emperors themselves, Thieron strengthened his skill with each form of Haki to a much greater degree and learned how to use their advanced applications.

Haoshoku Haki

Thieron's mastery of Haoshoku Haki, the Color of the Supreme King, places him at the table of the rare and elite individuals known on Earth for having the qualities of a king. His mastery of this formidable Haki form is outstanding, characterized by the capacity to unleash powerful bursts that leave behind nothing but devastation and can blow away opponents.

When using this form of Haki, the environment bears witness to the warrior's incapacitating spiritual force. The sheer force of his will warps the air, creating a palpable and ominous pressure that distorts the environment. When a person is hit by one of these spiritual bursts, they feel compressed and suffocated, as if placed in an airless enclosed space that simply closes in on them. By exercising his Haoshoku Haki in conjunction with his ability to manipulate lightning, Thieron finds himself able to create an uninhabitable zone around himself for a few moments, as it is rendered extremely electric; if anyone were to venture into this zone, they would find themselves electrocuted before even knowing why. As the first form of Haki he would have awakened in his life, Conqueror's Haki is of course his expertise. He is thus able to decide to affect a specific group or individual without affecting the surrounding persons, if any, or have an effect on a huge area around himself.

Busoshoku Haki

Thieron is an immensely skilled user of Armament Haki, having learned it during his time in the Navy. Since then, he uses it in combat in the New World to increase his offense and defense, in addition to being able to touch and damage Logia users, such as Alban A. Helios, and those with features similar to them, such as Special Paramecia users.

Clearly, this form of Haki is his specialty, and he's surprisingly effective when he uses it. On offense, his Busoshoku Haki makes him an unstoppable force. This gives him phenomenal striking power, to the point of being able to damage and defend himself against powerful opponents, such as Erabatama Yushin or Alban A. Helios. Another prominent point of his effectiveness in using Armament Haki is his ability to imbue gigantic things with it. He first demonstrated this ability against Erabatama Yushin, when he created a giant air sculpture with his fruit, imbuing its fist with Haki, even though the fist was the size of a city block. The other time would have been against Helios, where he imbued a gigantic area of air, half a kilometer in diameter, with Haki. It seems he can't use up his reserves.

In defense, this form of Haki makes him an impenetrable fortress, a veritable tank. By hardening his own body or objects he comes into contact with, he can withstand attacks that would otherwise be debilitating. He demonstrated this in his confrontation on El Dorado, where he was caught off guard by an explosive acid attack from Helios, managing to limit the damage, with his Haki Armament and thick, scaly defense, to an inability to use his legs, where the attack had the power to completely vaporize them. When he couples this with his devil fruit, his defense factor is multiplied and reaches new heights. Thanks to his awakening, he can imbue wind, lightning and clouds with Armament Haki. And this has proved crucial on several occasions. In his confrontation with Caesar, he managed to parry a superluminal attack infused with Haoshoku Haki by creating a zone of air around him and imbuing it with Haki, receiving only a tiny fraction of the power of this attack that could potentially have ended the exchange between the two.

In addition to the conventional offensive and defensive uses, he has achieved mastery over both Emission and Internal Destruction, showcasing an advanced understanding of this Haki form. With Emission, the first form of advanced Haki he developed, Thieron found himself able to project his Haki beyond his physical form. This ability allows him to strike opponents from a distance, no longer requiring direct contact to do damage. This provides a significant advantage when facing opponents whose touch is dangerous.

Internal Destruction is another facet of his already well-stocked offensive palette. This ability allows him to project his Haki inside his targets, destroying them from the inside out. He is therefore capable of inflicting damage on individuals with extraordinary durability, such as Helios, a Rakshasa, because the special feature of Internal Destruction is that it bypasses external defenses and attacks from within.

Kenbunshoku Haki

Thieron is an extremely skilled user of Observation Haki, which he learned early on in his career as a Marine. His mastery of this Haki form allows him to perceive the presence, strength and intentions of those around him with exceptional clarity and precision. Given what has been shown during his appearances, it's striking that Thieron is particularly adept at sensing the presence of people, being able to cover a vastly large area around him with his Kenbunshoku, and thus be aware of just about everything that's going on in said area.

He's also very acute at sensing strong presences, even at crazy distances, as supported by two occasions on which he was able to discern strong individuals from the rest. The first being when he was able to sense and focus on the presence of the Yonko Thrymr from a very great distance, clearly differentiating him from the rest of his procession of giant soldiers.

The second occasion was when he was able to sense the presence of the two samurai, Erabatama Yushin and Ganon, from the moment they entered his territory, Nyxis, calling directly on his Commander Kaza to intercept them.

Due to his repeated confrontations in the New World, Thieron eventually unlocked the use of Future Vision, enabling him to look a few seconds into the future. This ability gives him a considerable advantage in battle, as he finds himself able to react to actions even before they occur.

He would have unlocked this ability before his fight against Heidrun Thrymr, a Yonko. However, it was during this confrontation that its use became much more effective and fluid, due to the Jotunn's repeated assaults. On several occasions, he used this form of precognition to dodge Thrymr's attacks.

Thus, he escaped from Elbaf better in his use of Observation Haki, having moved to a whole new level and now being able to dodge attacks with considerable ease. This was demonstrated in his second confrontation with an Emperor, this time Gladius Caesar, known as the "Fastest Man in the World" where he showed himself capable of reacting to and parrying a faster-than-light attack, having seen himself hit full force before the Yonko had even engaged his attack.

Swordsmanship

Although most commonly known for his titanic strength and extraordinary strategic abilities, Thieron is also an excellent swordsman and can demonstrate extraordinary prowess in combat. In action, Thieron wields his gigantic sword. Each strike is delivered with a ferocity that borders on savage, yet there is an undeniable grace in the way he wields his blade, showcasing a level of skill that sets him apart as a captain with a nuanced understanding of close-quarters combat. What truly sets him apart, however, is his ability to seamlessly integrate this savage swordplay with his brawling skills. In the heat of battle, he transitions effortlessly between sword and fist, using his fists with the same fluidity and precision as his blade.

His considerable swordsmanship not only showcases his physical prowess but also speaks volumes about his disciplined training routine. His commitment to honing his skills is apparent in how effortlessly he blends strength with technique, resulting in a potent synergy that renders him a formidable opponent in one-on-one combat. To witness Kairos Thieron in combat is to witness a master at work, a true maestro of the blade.

Weapons

Theron wields a Zweihänder named Nordstjernen in combat. It is a large sword with a double-edge blade and a large hand guard.

Before acquiring the Nordstjernen shortly after his debut as a pirate, in a victory over another New World captain, Thieron wielded another sword. Indeed, during his time in the Navy and even shortly afterwards, he wielded a long sword resembling a Scottish Claymore.
