Horkos "The Hunt" was one of the "Three Kings" of the Animal Kingdom. After the his captain and who he claimed as his adoptive mother, Eris, died he went into hiding to train on his own till he felt ready to bring back glory for the once widely infamous Animal Kingdom. When he came back into the spot light, his first mission was to get Tenko's daughter Yoko from Zou so that she would be under his protection. After getting to Zou, he ran into Raionsan who he fought for ownership of Zou, which he lost. Grabbing Yoko, he made terms with Raionsan and went to the sea in order to continue with his mission to regain infamy.
After he left Zou, Horkos formed the New Animal Kingdom so that he could get stronger so he may start over the War of Empires and destroy the World Government once and for all.
Appearance[]
Before the War of Empires, Horkos had a more subtle physique, while still muscular he was smaller in stature. He usually walks around with no shirt to cover himself with, opting to wear a simple pair of cameo pants held up by a belt. The only other clothing garments he wears is a pair of gloves and socks that contrast nicely with his black fur. After the war, Horkos lost his left eye and went to train in a distant island in the New World. After the training, some of his hair on his body became a eggshell white color that contrasted nicely with the rest of his black fur.
When he went to the Gran Tesoro he decided to brandish out the scars he got in his previous battle with Raionsan. While still shirtless, he adorned on a black jacket that held onto his shoulders, a pair of black pants that blended in with his already black skin and a yellow ash that acted as his belt, and he wore a simple red tie that was loosed. His scars are in the open air for people to glance at, which showed his experience in combat. Noticeably as well, he had looked more mature due to being aged up 10 years by Raionsan's devil fruit ability.[1]

Personality[]
Due his up bringing as a cub, being slave traded from place to place, he had grown a strong distaste for other races apart from minks. When Eris saved him from a slave trade, he looked up to her as a mother, noticing how strong minks are compared to everyone else. He thinks that if all minks realize their potential and fight back, no more of this hardship against his kin would happen again. He sought out anyone that wasn't a mink that claimed to be strong and would kill them or mortally wound them to show that they are nothing in comparison to minks. When the war started, he led the frontal assaults with his hot temper, but strategic mind for war.
While he looks like a savage beast from the outside, he has a deep care for his brethren. He despises himself whenever he has to fight against his own race, as he feels he is betraying his own kin, however he is a firm believer that when he fights them, it is to save them, even if it means killing them. Being heavily stubborn with his beliefs, it is a challenge to change his mind when he makes a decision.
While fighting other minks is a challenge for him, he adores fighting and killing those of opposing races, especially humans. He usually doesn't think twice when he kills a human unless they prove themselves as a challenge or of use. He holds no respect for those that don't fit those two categories or isn't a mink. Because he shows no mercy, he is often viewed as a monster, but he believes that he is just snooping down to the level of a human and doing what they do. He fully believes that humans are the biggest monsters cause of their manipulative and lying nature to backstab others to get to the top rather than through their own strengths.
Horkos's mission apart from bringing back the infamy of the Animal Kingdom name is to kill or recruit all of those who claim to be "strong". This is because he wants to build enough momentum to redeclare war on the World Government and kill all the corrupt people in there to avenge his former captain.
Relationships[]
Eris was and who Horkos still considers his captain. She found and rescued him when he was a cub while he was being sold in a slave ring. She is the first and only person Horkos ever idolized and followed. He considers her to be a sort of adoptive mother to him. While working under her, he managed to rise the ranks of the crew and become one of the "Three Kings" and have quite the authority amongst the crew, becoming the third division commander and given the ability to lead the frontal charge during the War of Empires.
Tenko was the second in command to his regiment. She was one of the first people Horkos met when he first joined the crew and befriended. While she could be annoying at time, he held deep care and respect for her as a sister. Though he lost some of it when he found out she was dating a human and had a child with them. When she sacrificed herself to save Horkos from what would have been fatal blow, she requested but one thing of him. She requested that he looked after her from here on out. She handed him a vivere card that would lead Horkos to her on Zou and out of respect for her, Horkos took up the mantle, even though she didn't like Yoko for the human half of her heritage.
Yoko is the daughter of Horkos's closest friend and second in command Tenko. Horkos can't help but look at her with distain as she resembles that of a human too much due to her human father. He only took her under his wing out of respect for Tenko, even though he does have a small bit of care for the child, he still doesn't like the sight of a half breed mink as he feels it ruins such a perfect race with inferior aspects.
Raionsan is the ruler of Zou, a Shichibukai, and an old opponent of Horkos. Even though he fought Raionsan in the war, he holds still holds him with high respect. In their recent exchange, the two arranged an agreement and began to work together to bring down the World Government. The two as of the moment are unofficial allies so that they can keep their connection to each other a secret.

Strength[]
Horkos withholds in himself strength that seems to defy the logic of what his body can expend out. He has meticulously trained and carved his body to be able to protect the people he cares for and defeat those who are unworthy of strength since he was a child and slave. Just lifting up one of his axes takes the strength of 20 men, let alone swinging it in combat. This sheer amount of power in each fiber of his being allows him to unleash devasting blows that would leave a normal person eviscerated. It also allows him to stop attacks head on with his hands alone, such as catching bullets or slapping them away entirely, grab onto a down swinging sword before shattering it in his palm, or even punching someone so hard that they get sent flying through a building. His greatest feat is going toe to toe with Raionsan and even able to overpower him in brute strength alone
Speed[]
Horkos, even though fast, is greatly slowed down by how dense his muscles are. They allow him some exceptional acts of speed when he was able to surprise blitz Raionsan in their fight after getting speed blitzed himself the entire fight. Though he isn't able to do that often as he built himself to be able to tank a hit and keep moving rather than dodge one as he loves the thrill of a clash.
Durability[]
Horkos's entire body is built and sculpted to be able to endure approximately any attack. Because his muscle fibers are so dense, normal attacks and even most haki attacks can't pierce his flesh. This alongside his abnormal strength makes him more than just a difficult person to knock down, but even more of a nightmare to defeat. His greatest display is when he went seven days straight fighting a Shichibukai, only losing when he was hit by his strongest attack. The level of endurance Horkos has as well is so monstrous that when Raionsan unleashed a powerful wave from his fruit, Horkos walked through it with minimal damage.[3]
Weapons and Items[]
Twin Headed Axes[]
Horkos preferred weapons since he joined the crew. The axes complement his animalistic rip and tear fighting style where he focuses on releasing his strength into a powerful burst. The axes themselves are made to suit someone of Horkos's build specifically where one axe requires that of 20 men in order to lift properly. Most of the time, Horkos uses his fruit to swing the axes for him while he maneuvers to an advantageous position for him to kill whoever he is fighting.
Devil Fruit[]
- Main article: Kote Kote no Mi
Horkos possesses the powers of the Kote Kote no Mi, also known as the Grab Grab Fruit. Giving him the ability to someone spectral gauntlets that allows for him to grab practically anything, even if intangible, such as wind or fire. He has shown multitude of creative and powerful feats using these powers in tandem with his mink heritage. Some of the abilities he has accomplished being that he was able to fend off a powerful and deadly attack from "Warlord of the Sea" Raionsan by grabbing the air and distorting the wave by manipulating the air and soundwaves, making a semi vacuum around himself[3].
His biggest accomplishment with the fruit however is his creation of the form "God Hunter", where he uses one of his gauntlets to forcefully pump his heart faster than normal, allowing for more blood to rush through his veins. This causes his body to rapidly heat up, causing his body to turn a light shade of red. Using his other gauntlet, he compresses air around his body and then proceeds to light the compressed alight using his electro to shoot lighting all over his body. This causes his body to erupt into a blanket of flames, though he can't feel it as his adrenaline skyrockets, causing him to feel no pain for the short time the form is active.
This form does however act as a double edge sword as it can kill Horkos the longer he keeps it active, whether it be from burning alive or his heart exploding. As of currently, there are three versions of this mode, though only two have been shown.
God Hunter[]
Covering his body in a blanket of flames, Horkos goes into a state of euphoria where he feels nothing and everything at the same time as he shoots pulses of electro through his nerves to increase his reflexes and reaction time exponentially while the adrenaline causes him to feel no pain simultaneously. The fire covering his body allow for him to deal explosive amounts of damage in a wide area.
God Hunter: Cerberus[]
Horkos concentrates the fire from the outside his body and absorbs it into his skin, causing his skin to glow a bright orange. This allows for all the energy in the fire to act in accordance with his muscles to dish out outrageously powerful attacks that defies all limitations on one's body. His skin bloats and tightens causing for his already hard to pierce skin to be practically impenetrable. Making him both the unstoppable force an immovable wall.
Prime God Hunter[]
Horkos combines the abilities of his Sulong form with his God Hunter form to make absolute destruction on whatever is in his sight, he doesn't have full control of this form yet however.
Named Attacks[]
- Twin Fang: Horkos uses his devil fruit to cover his hand before throwing himself into the air. Throwing his second axe into the air simultaneously, he moves the gauntlet off of his hand and onto the axe flying in the air. He coats the axe in still in his hands as well as the one in gripped by his gauntlet in the air before swinging them down onto an opponent below him. The mix of his weight, gravity, and kinetic energy combine into a devastating aerial attack.
- Destruction Wave: Taking a mighty step forward, Horkos lowered his hips and threw his fist forward, while still twenty feet away. A surge of haki infused electricity combined with his mastery in Electro explodes into a massive destructive wave that destroys everything in its way. By far one of Horkos's most destructive attacks by sheer radius.
- King's Fall: Horkos uses his gauntlets to make a vacuum chamber around him and an enemy by warping the air around them. He then uses one of his gauntlets to grab the pressurized air in the chamber to pull the enemy violently towards him. Coating his arm in haki, he upper cuts the person before shooting a surge of electro into them, sending them flying out of the vacuum.
- Divine Beast: Horkos uses both of his gauntlets to compress air into a condensed ball before surging electro through it, containing the lightning. The contained lightning is forced to bounce off its self with no chance to fizzle out, causing the ball to get increasingly hotter with each passing second till it becomes a miniature star with its own minor gravitation pull. Firing this off allows for the soccer ball sized orb to rip up pieces of earth and debris to grow in size, with the a ability of it to reach the size of a two story building or bigger if it consumes enough before exploding into a enormous explosion that could level a small town. This is Horkos's most powerful attack, though it takes long to pull off.
- Lion's Pride: This is Horkos's most simple attack, being where he uses both of his axes to go after his enemies neck to quickly decapitate them.
Haki[]

Kenbunshoku Haki[]
Kenbunshoku haki was a tad tougher for Horkos to get a handle on due to his brutish and aggressive personality, however, as he grew along with his crew, he managed to finally get a control on it. With the assistance of it, he got his nick name "The Hunt" from his excellent ability to use it to track people and wild game.
Busoshoku Haki[]
Horkos has always seemed to have an affinity to Buso haki, it being one of the first and quickest haki's he learned while training under Eris. He was regarded to be one of the strongest Buso haki users on the crew, second only to Eris. Using them in unison with his twin axes, he was a devastating wreck to be had. Still training it to date, he is able to clash with the likes of Warlords such as Raionsan for long periods of time[4].
Emission[]
Due to how much of a natural Horkos was with Buso haki, he quickly got the hand on emitting his haki through the air to make for outrageously destructive ranged attacks. It is the most cataclysmic when paired with his Electro abilities, combining into fatal attacks on contact.
Haoshoku Haki[]
Hao haki was the last haki he learned and manifested after watching his crew get destroyed in front of his eyes. When it first stimmed, it was when he watched Eris receive a fatal wound. Approximately five thousand fell unconscious when he roared it out in anger before going into a berserker type state. It was in this state that he got caught off guard and lost not only his eye, but his second in command.
