Etymology[]
The name of this fruits comes from the "Blue Lantern", a central figure of the lore of the yokai from which the fruit is born.
Appearance[]
This fruit is in the shape of a blue pear with blue spirals, the top is crowned with many semi-transparent blue leaves in the shape of flames, this is to evoke the powers of the referenced yokai.

Strengths and Weaknesses[]
Like any mythological zoan, the fruit offers physical abilities and mythological skills. The physical ability of this fruit comes from its transformation; in fact, it allows one to transform into a fearsome oni with great strength, sharp claws and fangs, and two large horns. Its body exudes a light blue aura, and its black hair is often set ablaze in blue flames.
The mythological power of this creature is that of the "Hypnotic Flames of Fear." Its blue flames do not burn but still spread quickly. Those affected by these flames experience an excessive sense of terror, also seeing hallucinations of all kinds that disorient them even more thus generating a total sense of shock. The Ao Andon also can feed on this fear by increasing its strength and effects even more.
The fruit has the common weaknesses of devil fruits. The greatest fighters of the seas are no exception to its effects since there is no such thing as an individual without fear, even deep in one's heart there is always a place for fear, and in the highest level of fighting, an instant of fear, shock, deep terror or even doubt can prove fatal.
