Appearance

Her appearance is described as alluring and seductive, her blond and wavy hair spilling down her back. The shape of her eyes is similar to that of a cat, making her gaze piercing and yellow. From her luscious lips, a deep scar was next to it, running from her cheek to her neck, another scar traces part of her shoulder as well, a painful memory left from her childhood. Nanna wears a pale green dress and moulded to her curves, it covers up to half the thigh, however, a single strap holds the dress from the shoulder, leaving the other shoulder bare. Over the dress is a translucent stole made of silk, the petal border of the stole is decorated with white fur trim. To finish off in style, Nanna embellished her outfit with gold bracelets around her neck, biceps, wrists and bare ankles.

One day, Skadi searched for Nanna in the nobles’ castle and found her trapped in a secret door. Together, they discovered a mysterious tunnel. Their exploration led them to a slippery slope that led to an underground lake lit by neon blue slugs. The two amazed girls proclaimed this place their secret lair, marking the beginning of many adventures to come.

Skadi and Nanna found themselves in a damp cave where they tried to stay dry. Skadi enthusiastically suggested making torches from tree roots, but Nanna was concerned about the stability of the cave. They continued to explore, discussing the dangers of the Toskr squirrels, said to be far more fearsome than bears or wolves. As they exited the cave, they searched for snacks. Nanna jokingly suggested hunting Toskr squirrels, which terrified Skadi, but she continued to dream of beautiful costumes made from their fur. As they settle down near the exit to make a fire, a Toskr squirrel attacks them. Skadi, frightened, pushes Nanna into the cave to take her to safety and fights with the monster using a flaming stick. Nanna trips and gets up to make Skadi run, since she was the crown princess and Nanna ends up injured in the neck and shoulder. Norn, a spider-like creature, intervenes to save the girls. She neutralizes the squirrel and treats Nanna's wounds with spiderweb bandages to stop the bleeding. Norn reassures Skadi, promising that Nanna will be well cared for and takes them back to the castle. However, Nanna is terrified of the reprimands that await them at the castle.

Nanna, injured and in shock, is brought to the throne of Elbaf with the help of Norn. King Thrymr, although concerned for his daughter Skadi, quickly turns to Nanna, noting her serious injuries. Nanna, trembling and scarred by a squirrel attack, has difficulty expressing her pain and fear. Embla, the queen, takes care of her and assures that her father will be informed immediately to return. Embla, with maternal gentleness, comforts Nanna, offering her support and warmth. The doctor, although reassuring, announces that Nanna will have a permanent scar, but the treatment will be covered free of charge due to her royal status. Nanna, acknowledging her family's support, is comforted by Skadi and Embla, although the situation causes her great sadness. Thrymr, concerned by the situation, asks his brother Helblindi to return immediately, explaining that Nanna has been injured. Helblindi, despite a relaxed demeanor, is quick to defend himself against Thrymr's accusations, emphasizing his own role as a father. Thrymr, furious at the situation and the prejudice against hybrids, threatens consequences if Nanna puts Skadi in danger again. Despite the family tensions, Thrymr orders that Nanna stay at the castle until he arrives. Embla continues to support Nanna with affection, while Thrymr ends the call with his brother, asking that Nanna be protected and cared for until he can return.
