Hayami is a Rakshasa hailing from the land of Wano. Once residing amongst the mountains, rumors were told by the local villagers of a man eating a demon. These tales went far enough to catch the eyes of a then-younger Yuto. Going off to investigate the swordsmen met up with the fabled demon, in the end leading to a clash to which he came victorious upon the monster's only truth to be revealed that they were nothing but washed-up lost drifters. After hearing them the Yuto offered them the chance to serve under him which she accepted.
