The Hai Hai no Mi is a Logia-type Devil Fruit that allows the user to transform, create, and become ash, making them an Ash Human.

Strengths and Weaknesses[]
The main strength of this fruit, like all Logias, is granting the user the ability to create, control, and become an element, in this case the element of ash. The ash created by this fruit shares similar properties to volcanic ash, such as its toxicity and glass-like grains but it also bears many similarities to all other types of ash as well. The user can create and form the ash into different constructs, as seen with its current user Pompeii, who uses the ash to make blade-like constructs such as stars or swords.[2]
Another unique property that Pompeii has shown is the ash's ability to heat up and burn to the point of burning other objects to ash, similar to how the Suna Suna no Mi can dehydrate objects to turn into sand. [2]He also uses the ash to create monstrous storms of ash that can shroud entire islands.[2] Pompeii also uses the fruit as transportation, as he can turn it into ash and blow away using the wind.
Usage[]
Pompeii mostly uses this fruit in combat, using it's abilities to create weapons or restrain opponents, as well as heating up his body to increase his attacking power. Pompeii also uses the fruit's abilities to make up for the limbs he lost, such as creating hands and arms to replace those missing limbs.
Techniques[]
- Lucky Stars: Pompeii creates stars using his ash with blade-like points, which then begin spinning rapidly like saw blades, which then either go directly to an opponent or begin bouncing around the environment or room to pick up speed. This was first used against Aphrodite.
- Lucky Stars: Supernova: This technique causes the stars to spin more rapidly as well as becoming extremely hot to the point they glow red.
- Iron Maiden: Pompeii creates ash that surrounds and compresses around an opponent while either increasing in heat or making sharp protrusions appear that cut into the skin until they either die from the heat or run out of oxygen. It was strong enough to restrain Aphrodite, who needed help from her poison to break out.
