Gunfu is a style of fighting of unknown origin, however, though centuries of firearm advancement the martial art as slowly spread across the world. Gunfu or Gun Kata as some might refer to it as mixes martial arts and marksmenship to create gunmen and women who are capable of untilizing their skills in both long and close ranged combat. The basics of Gunfu begin with learning how to wield ones gun or guns of choice, learning their ins and outs before beginning to train with them. Quickly loading and reloading ones weapon while remaining fast and light on ones feet is a major factor in the successful usage of this fighting style as dropping bullets or reloading too slowly in close quarters combat can easily result in death.
Though it may not seem the case, users of this style of fighting are required to quite intelligent, at least intelligent enough to quickly process the angle of and aim their firearms without looking down their sight. Complex mathmatics needing to be calculated within a fraction of a second before firing off shots from many unorthadox positions.
Believed to be due to the restriction of the number of bullets and the time required to reload older firearms some users of Gunfu would combine their marksmenship with swordsmanship through the addition of bayonets attached to the front of their rifles.
