The Gorgon Tribe, or simply Gorgons, are a humanoid race spread throughout the world, mainly found in Paradise and the Four Blues. They are categorized for having snake-like hair and sometimes snake-like fangs, tongues, and eyes.
Appearance[]
All Gorgons possess snake-like appendages on their heads that act like hair; the hair can take on the appearance of any snake species with different colors and markings depending on the species. This gives their hair a wide array of forms, with some members possessing only some snake-like appendages while others could have snakes in place for all the hair on their heads. Oftentimes, a Gorgon can be born with more snake-like features on their face, like fangs or a forked tongue; others could also possess different colored skin. Hair is the most prized possession of a Gorgon, and members tend to stylize their hair often into different styles.
Gorgons tend to be taller than humans on average and mostly possess slender bodies, though this may not be true for all members. Hybrids could also greatly affect the hair's appearance; a Gorgon Fish-Men hybrid, for example, could possess eel-like hair instead of the standard snakes.

Biology[]
Gorgon's hair tends to behave like actual snakes as well as possess similar biology to ones normally found in the wild. When cut or trimmed, the snakes can grow back much like regular hair. The species of snakes that the appendages take on seems to be at random and isn't affected by genetics.

Hybrids between most races are possible, though the race that seems most compatible is the Reptilians.
Overall Strengths[]
Gorgons are naturally stronger than humans and have the ability to control their snakes, much like a user of Seimei Kikan, allowing them to extend and wrap around opponents or objects. The species of snake could also give them extra abilities; cobra hair, for example, can give them the ability to produce venom.

Gorgons and Reptilians have a strong relationship with each other; hybrids between them result in something called a True Gorgon, which is a hybrid with a snake-like lower body. This happens with every hybrid between a Gorgon and Reptilian, regardless of the species the Reptilian parent takes after.
