Goddard D. Delight is a Bull Tribe marine born in Paradise but currently residing in the New World. She is a scientist and believes in what she calls Logical Justice. And she wants to becoming the smartest person on the planet. She’s the user of the Enka Enka no Mi, which turned her into a rocket human.

Originally a ensign, she participated in a incident on the Gran Tesoro. Which was an opportunity to both complete her role as a marine and test some new technology. After the event she rose in the ranks becoming a lieutenant. Having proved usefulness as a marine by defeating a number of small time pirates.

Appearance

Delight has very brightly colored strawberry-pink hair. All of which is well kept and grown out. Leaving it to flow freely down to her waist. Having a substantial amount of growth on the back of her head. And some bangs of hair on either side of her face. Finished with a sharply trimmed set of pink covering her forehead. On top of her hair is a crescent shaped head accessory. And she has two red, sharp horns facing outwardly.

Her eyes are a light shade of green, like a shining emerald. With thin but sharp eyelashes prominent on her bottom eyelids, while there are thicker yet less pointed lashes on her upper eyes. And on the outer sides of her eyes are red eyeliner. Finishing off her eyes are her eyebrows, thin and barely visible through her pink hair. While they are brown, their near invisibility makes them difficult to discern.

She has a relatively unmuscular figure. With her line of work leaving her little need to work out or gain physical strength in any way, soft caucasian skin and a curved physique.

Clothing

Delight's primary choice of attire consists of an almost entirely red one piece suit-dress hybrid. Which goes down to around the middle of her thighs and circles the entirety of her body. While the bottom acts similarly to a skirt, it doesn't extend outward from the body, simply continuing downward. Adorning this piece is a section of white near the neck. Making up a white collar that surrounds it as well. In the center of this alternately colored section, there is an orange small tie, which barely adds contrast to the design.

On both sides of the white are black lines that move out from the golden shoulder pads. They flow down in symmetrical paths and stop at triangular points just below where the white ends. Atop the black at the bottoms of each point are two thin golden lines similar in design to the top pads. The black lines are present at her waist as well. Surrounding her waist like a belt but stopping in the same golden highlights as before. Not having a chance to converge at the stomach.

On the center of the red suit are a series of six black spherical buttons. All of which stop appearing just above the aforementioned belt line. On the left side of Delight's suit, there is also a thin white line from where the piece opens up.

Delight's pants are nothing special. Being simple black pieces of clothing that completely cover her legs. While somewhat unique, her boots have only three black dots on the inner sides of each boot. And having an orange line that surrounds the white rubber, all that's left are the black bottoms of her shoes.

Personality

Delight has a mostly curious attitude; she likes meeting new people because she sees it as a chance to understand them. And understand more about the world in general. While this can be annoying at times due to her consistent bugging of others, she usually understands when it's not the time to be chatting. While she can come off as overly confident at times, she rarely ever enters a situation that she doesn't have a plan to get out of if things go wrong.

Intelligence

Delight's greatest weapon is her mind; she enjoys learning new things. And uses her knowledge to create new tools to help her in combat. Commonly attaching new machines to the suit she uses in combat. Whenever she gets into combat, though, she sees it as a chance to test the technology she's made. So she can learn and understand what needs further work and what inventions are successful.

Powers & Abilities

Overview

Delight excels in her resourcefulness and speed. Even without her fruit, thanks to her biology, she is incredibly quick on her feet, and thanks to her leg strength, her fighting primarily revolves around kicking. Even though she's not incredibly strong, she has a suit to make up for that. Which also provides heat to access her race's spark ability.

Rokushiki

As a member of the Marines, ever since she joined at the age of 12, Delight has been taught how to utilize the six powers. And while primarily spending her time on her technological advancements, Delight has still put aside the time to learn some techniques surrounding Rokushiki. And while not extremely well versed in most of its abilities, she can still use it effectively in combat. Primarily the techniques centered around leg strength, Rankyaku and Soru.

Technology

Designed and used for combat, Delight has a mechanical suit colored a basic red. On top of being durable and heat-resistant, it allows her to move at incredible speeds through the use of her fruit made rocket thrusters and the protection it provides from outside forces. Despite being durable and designed to defend, the suit is light enough not to affect the speeds she can reach. It also allows her to produce rocket fuel and store that inside of it. Holding it so that it can be shot out as a weapon later without the need for her to make it, which costs energy.

Devil Fruit

Delight has a devil fruit called the Enka Enka no Mi. Allowing her to sprout parts of a rocket from any body part or simply turning her body into a rocket, through her consistently rising knowledge of technology, she can be very creative with this fruit. And while her most common use of it is through the versatility of rocket thrusters to launch deadly attacks, she has a number of ways to fight, including using fins as makeshift blades to attack with. Or using volatile fuels to create powerful explosions.

Haki

Delight has a slight amount of knowledge of Haki as a whole. While she has barely any skill with her busoshoku or kenbunshoku haki, she can still use both to minimal extents.

Busoshoku Haki

Delight has about the same amount of skill in both types of haki. While she is able to use Busoshoku haki though, she can not infuse weapons or items with it. And she can get burned out quickly if she isn't careful.

Kenbunshoku Haki

Delight can use kenbunshoku haki to predict the movements of people near her. But the range of which she can do is quite small. She needs people to be roughly in the same room as her in terms of space.
