The Fero Fero no Mi is a Special Paramecia-type Devil Fruit that allows the user to create, control, and transform into ferro fluid at will. As a Special Paramecia, the Fero Fero no Mi exhibits abilities analogous to a Logia type Devil Fruit. As well as creating and controlling ferro fluid, The user is able to transform parts of their body into it as well. The fluid effectively functions as an extension of the user's body.
Using her magnetic bracelets, Mimi is able to easily condense and harden her ferro fluid into an extremely tough material. This includes the ability to create shields and weapons from the fluid, hardening them into their proper shape for efficient use. The magnetism that the fluid can take on also allows for disarming of those with metal weapons. A lot of the Fero Fero no Mi's attacks have to do with hardening the compound with magnets, thus an extremely powerful magnet or someone with an intense magnetic field would be able to steal and control the fluid themselves. Mimi's magnetic bracelets could be overpowered given the right scenario.
There is also a certain obviousness that comes with using magnetism to control ferro fluid, so attacks can sometimes be as telegraphed as they are devastating. Being based on hydrocarbons and having a similar makeup to motor oil, inhaling or directly touching ferro fluid is not advised. It can easily cause eye irritation and sickness upon being consumed, as well as staining skin due to it's sticky nature.
Due to her ability to generate nigh infinite amounts of ferro fluid, Mimi can easily build structures and roads for her to interact with. A common use would be hardening a road of fluid continuously for her to skate on, allowing her to easily traverse long distances and create easy surfaces for her to rollerblade on. Like it's willingness to solidify when exposed to a magnetic field, ferro fluid freezes at around -50° C. Being mostly liquid, if exposed to a cold enough temperature the fluid would be rendered frozen in place. Ferro fluid also has an autoignition point of 180° C. It can be easily ignited if exposed to a high temperature.

- Liquid Fortress (リキッドフォートレス Ekitai no yōsai?, literally meaning "Liquid Fortress"): Mimi generates a wall of of ferro fluid in front of her, hardening it with her magnetic bracelets into a formidable shield that can completely encase her. Extremely effective against projectiles. Anything that touches the barrier will be swallowed up.
- Ferrous Rainstorm (アイアンストーム Aiansutōmu?, literally meaning "Iron Storm"): Mimi releases a shower of small ferro fluid droplets that harden mid-air, raining down like meteoric blades.
- Steel Tide (スチールタイド Suchīrutaido?, literally meaning "Steel Tide"): Summons a wave of ferro fluid that crashes down on enemies, overwhelming them with its mass and force.
- Snakesteel Strike (スチールサーペントストライク Sutīru sāpento sutoraiku?, literally meaning "Steel Serpent Strike"): Morphing the ferro fluid into a snake-like form that strikes swiftly at an opponent, Mimi will direct it to coil and harden around them to immobilize.
- Ferric Maiden (アイアンメイデン aian meiden?, literally meaning "Iron Maiden"): Sneaking a pool of fluid behind an enemy, Mimi hardens it into a solid, spikey coffin to entrap a foe. Similar to a bear trap or an "Iron Maiden", the fantasy death trap.
