Etymology[]

  • Enka (煙火, lit. rocket/beacon)

Appearance[]

The Enka Enka no Mi has a very cylindrical shape, looking like an upside-down gray pineapple with a spiraled texture. And what would be the stem of a normal pineapple is a red and orange color, looking like an aggressively pointed blasted of heat shooting from the bottom. While the top of the fruit is a cone shape and has the stem sticking from the very top, the stem is shaped like an odd Y, with outwardly curving spirals in each pronge turning in on themselves.

Strengths and Weaknesses[]

Strengths[]

The Enka Enka no Mi has a unique ability, allowing the user to change their body into components of an ordinary rocket. Simple transformations can allow the user to change their limbs into thrusters that produce the same amount of propulsion as they normally would. Which makes it an incredible ability for traveling. Or, if used offensively, it can allow its user to burn anything in their path with the scolding heat produced from the thrusters.

Furthermore, the user has access to several other appliances found in rockets. Such as fins that, if used correctly, can make for a decent weapon. Or simply controlling one's flight, as they are usually used. Or forming a nose cone on their fist, allowing powerful and deadly strikes.

Weaknesses[]

One unique weakness of this fruit is the excessive hunger it makes its users endure. Rockets require fuel, and as food is fuel for the body, it is converted into the fuel the thrusters use. If the user doesn't utilize the thrusters often, they are not as affected by the hindrance of nutrition. But if they do, they will need to eat a lot more than normal to fuel their abilities. Aside from this, it suffers from the standard devil fruit weaknesses.

Usage[]

Goddard D. Delight[]

1620[]

Having only recently eaten the fruit, Delight has only simple knowledge of its capabilities. Using it to morph her limbs into rocket thrusters to gain immense boosts of speed.
