The Don Don no Mi is a Paramecia-type Devil Fruit that grants the user the ability imbue anything they touch with the ability to explode, making them a Explosion-Making Human (爆破変化人間, Bakuha Henka Ningen^?). It was eaten by Graves Van Orden.

Etymology

• "Don" (ドン, "Don"^?) is the a word used to describe a loud, explosive sound, such as a bomb or a cannon blast.

Strengths and Weaknesses

The user is granted the ability to imbue anything they touch with the ability to explode. What is unique about this is that the user isn't limited to a singular kind of explosion and in fact can create a variety of different effects. By default the user is able to create standard fiery explosions, however they can change the nature of the explosion at will. The user can create explosions that release bursts of air, create chilling winds, explosions of acid, or even poison. Explosions can also be of the unconventional side, by creating an explosion that produces a wailing scream, or even an explosion of candy. Regardless, after the explosion the effect dissipates shortly afterward, so the user cannot create permanent objects. Both the user and the object that is imbued are unaffected by the actual explosion. Furthermore the user can create specific conditions in which the explosion can occur, and can be as complex as the user imagines.

This fruit has all standard Devil Fruit weaknesses.

• This fruit is similar to the Bomu Bomu no Mi, and Pamu Pamu no Mi, as they all involve the ability to generate explosions either through one's body or touch.
• Where this fruit greatly differs is that what they touch isnt destroyed as part of the explosion.
