Devi Akane, also known as the Huntsman for his skills in hunting down opponents, is a young pirate originating from Paradise, formerly the knight of a desert kingdom. Not much is yet known about this kingdom, except for the fact that it was allied with the World Government and utterly destroyed from the inside out, leading to a collapse of the former ruling party. Due to the tumultuous climate, Akane left after a falling out with his men. Becoming a pirate was merely a means to an end for him. But he was good at it, and kept at it. Akane's goal is to create one of the greatest empires forged in his name, in order to create a sanctuary where the events that transpired in his kingdom, do not happen again.
Appearance[]
Akane is a dark-skinned and tall young male. He has a lean and athletic build. A long and thin blade scar runs over his left eye, leaving him unable to open it. There are a few scars on his body, as well. His face is youthful-looking, and he has bright amber eyes. To finish it off, his hair is wavy with some strands poking out; the left half has a few strands that are dyed white. Typically, he will wear a black turtleneck and sand-colored utility pants, with combat boots.
Personality[]
Akane's demeanor is one of discipline and seriousness. He is not one to crack jokes or goof around, but he is not necessarily a bad person. His attitude results from the past training he had as a knight, so it's to be expected. Goal-oriented and crafty, Akane is regarded as a thinker and strategist, determined to reach his goal, whatever that may be. He does have an air of arrogance to him, though.

Ever since he was a young boy, Akane was brought up into a family of protectors for the kingdom, and like those before him, he was raised into a soldier. Vigorously trained in the arts of swordfighting and close quarters combat, Akane never saw a break to the training. Yet, it had shaped him into the strong man he is today. With a tough body, agility and sharpened sense, he is a force to be reckoned with.
