"Ancient Blade" Cyrus is a Bounty Hunter in New World, Unlike most swordsmen in the world, Cyrus has no dreams to be the strongest . Instead he has task himself with bringing down any swordsmen who has taken up piracy.

Cyrus began his time on the high seas many years ago, being sent out by his own father, initially to see if he was worthy of taking over the family dojo. But Cyrus grew attached to the world and even after being told he return home, Cyrus stayed on the seas chasing the dream of greatness.

Appearance

Cyrus is a short, blind old man with white hair, pale skin and glazed over eyes. Across his face lay three large scars that were given to him by an old opponent, one of his scars lay directly across his eyes acting as the source of his blindness

Personality

Cyrus is a stereotypical, cranky old man who has a strong distaste for pirates who call themselves swordsmen. Whenever he comes across this niche group of pirates, he immediately attacks without question. He has come to believe the sword is a tool that should never be used in evil acts.

Despite being old Cyrus is rather fast being able to keep up with any pirate he hunts. but while he does have great speed for his age, the same can not be said about his strength.

Swordsmanship

Due to Cyruses long lived life, that has been filled to the brim with battles, Cyrus has become a master swordsmen capable of dissipating groups of pirates without a scratch.

Cyrus' signature sword style allows him to take on the characteristics of a leaf, being able to dance around his opponents like a leaf in the wind. With Cyrus' extreme level of mastery of his style, he is able to dodge and weave through his opponents attacks with great agility and speed, making him a hard-to-hit target.

Haki

Kenbunshoku Haki

After Cyrus was blinded by an unknown opponent, in order to continue the battle, he was able to surprise his limits at the time and awaken Ken. With the constant use of ken every day, he has become a master of ken, being able to detect the slightest presence. Cyrus has become so proficient that he has become able to sneak up upon with him, being able to sense all life around him.

Busoshoku Haki

Cyrus came up learning Buso after his incident of unlocking Ken, and like Ken, Cyrus has become greatly skilled with Buso being best at imbuing it into his blade. Being an old man, Cyrus has had to use Buso to enchase the blows of his blade as he has lost the physical strength of his youth.
