Crevette Sombre, also known by his aliases The Warden or The Cannibal by his prisoners and subordinates, is the newly appointed Warden of Impel Down, having achieved his promotion during the War of Empires. He is a White Shrimp Fishman who was sold to the World Government as a child, where he underwent training to be a future Cp9 member before getting transferred to Impel Down.

Sombre has a rather cruel personality, usually taking out his anger on his prisoners. He believes pirates and people alike are the true scum of the earth and need to be wiped out. He is great at following orders and follows them through without ever second-guessing. Despite his rather cruel personality, he has great respect for those he deems equal to him or those who work under him, often cracking jokes with them.
For some unknown reason, Sombre fully believes he is a human, despite his unusual appearance. This has subconsciously made him do a lot of shrimp puns.
