Cold Encounter[]

Further information: Cold Encounter

The fishermen of Rockbell Island watched with concern as a pirate ship sported a Jolly Roger. Rockbell, a peaceful kingdom ruled by a beloved queen, found itself threatened by this apparition. As they peered at the ship, an angelic figure, Baal, froze the ocean, allowing the Legion Pirates to begin their assault. Baal, with her icy power, declared the raid to begin, warning her crew to keep nothing to themselves or face punishment. Redgrave D. Zelgadis , a fearsome ally, used his purple fire to create sand golems to support the pirates. Across town, Rai Hyberon, a fearsome anthropomorphic crocodile, headed into the chaos, seeking a new fight to satisfy his warlike mood. Meanwhile, Vice Admiral Corindon Cyan, at the head of her fleet, sensed an ominous change and ordered her soldiers to prepare for battle. She assigned crucial tasks to her devoted Captain, Lowenthal David, and her subordinate Ahab. Cyan also requested reinforcements from Commodore Dave, who answered the call and prepared to sail to Rockbell. Ahab, with his impetuous temperament, took to the ice to help evacuate the citizens, accompanied by a medic. Vice Admiral Cyan coordinated the defence efforts with implacable determination, preparing to face the Legion pirates and protect Rockbell Island at all costs.[1]

Baal noticed the approaching Marine ships, taking advantage of this weakness to attack them. She spread her wings and created icy tornadoes to attack them, sowing panic among the soldiers. Cyan, a vice admiral, intervened with a stone wall to counter the tornadoes, causing an intense confrontation. Baal and Cyan engaged in a fierce duel. Baal attempted to freeze Cyan, but the latter used her powers to counter every attack, including Baal's "angel tears". Cyan demonstrated an ability to see the future, complicating Baal's plans. Despite being seriously injured, Cyan continued to fight, repelling Baal's attacks with determination. The battle reached its climax when Cyan, enraged by Baal's taunts, broke the crystal stake in the latter's chest and freed herself from her icy grip. Baal, weakened but still provocative, continued to challenge Cyan, trying to take advantage in this deadly confrontation. Unfortunately, Baal gave herself one last burst before attacking her with her wings and Cyan dodged it before propelling her towards the sky, with a stone pillar. The angel did not get discouraged and changed plans to target one of Cyan's weak points: The citizens.[2]

As Baal flew towards the city with her black wings, she planned a sinister attack, deciding to kill civilians to force Cyan to choose between attacking her or saving the hostages. David and Ahab were already engaged in evacuation efforts when Cyan, wounded and out of breath, emerged from an underground tunnel, determined to protect the townspeople. Cyan quickly ordered David and Ahab to focus on protecting the remaining citizens. David, though concerned about Cyan's condition, followed her orders and prepared to defend the city. Meanwhile, Baal launched a massive haki attack, knocking many civilians unconscious. Cyan, despite her fatigue and injuries, managed to stand. As Baal continued her destructive assault, she was faced with the betrayal of the sand golems, initially created to aid her but repurposed by Zelgadis to protect the citizens. The battle grew chaotic, with the golems attacking the Legion Pirates. In a final desperate act, Baal attempted to freeze the entire city, but Cyan managed to save a group of people with her crystal walls. The city was largely covered in ice, but Zelgadis' intervention, using the purple flames of her Devil Fruit, allowed the citizens to thaw and turn the tide in favor of the Marines. The freed citizens, now under the protection of Zelgadis' golems, had a chance to survive. Baal, tired and faced with the unexpected alliance between Cyan and Zelgadis, found herself in a weak position. In a desperate case, Baal called upon the Yonko of the Pirate Legion. Gladius Caesar entered the scene with great authority and an imposing presence, forcing everyone to stop and stare at him. Caesar, clearly a powerful and respected figure, announces that it is time to end this pointless battle. His intervention creates a palpable tension, suggesting that he could change the course of events. [3]

Cyan sensed Gladius Caesar's presence even before he arrived, an overwhelming sensation that awakened her warrior instincts and kept her on guard. As Caesar proclaimed himself the master of the place, threatening to turn the island into a field of ruins, Cyan found herself in deep strategic thinking. She ordered Dave to contact the fleet admiral, knowing that the situation required immediate reinforcements to protect the innocents caught in the conflict. Cyan knew that the battle was far from fair, but she was determined not to give in. As David evacuated the civilians with blinding speed, Cyan focused on the front of the battle. Zelgadis, ecstatic at Caesar's power, was ready to do anything to counter the enemy. The confrontation between Caesar, Zelgadis and Cyan was brutal, with attacks of disproportionate intensity and a clash of wills that seemed to defy the laws of physics. When the situation became desperate, the fleet admiral, Kyojin, arrived on the battlefield with a terrifying aura. His imposing presence and devastating haki immediately changed the dynamics of the fight. Caesar, although formidable, found himself facing a formidable opponent. Cyan, aware that the battle had just taken a decisive turn, David took her as a princess on his way at a rapid speed, announcing to her that he needed the help of the vice admiral for the rescued citizens, waiting patiently at the beach.[4]
