Champagne Kingdom is a large island residing within the White Sea, resting atop a large Adam Wood tree. Often called "The Land of a Thousand Fables", the country is known for its idealistc beauty and chivalric virtues.
General Infomation[]
Champagne Kingdom is an island that was, over many, many centuries pushed into the sky by an Adam wood tree growing underneath of it. It now resides within the White Sea only reachable from there or by climbing the massive tree on which it rests.
The people of Champagne are known for their polite and fun loving way of life, taking great pride the making and drinking of wine. It is a land that values love and virtue above all else. Mean and women alike dream of becoming knights in service of the crown, considered one of the greatest honors one can recieve within the nation.
It is a dual seasonal island spending the majority of the year in a warm summer creating a great climate for the production of wine grapes while allowing the vines to rest during the three months of winter they receive per year.
Though wine will always be first in their hearts it would be remiss to claim that a great deal of their econemy and infrastructure did not come from the Adam wood harvested and sold to anyone with the money to buy it.
Wood not exported to shipwrights and other buyers is recycled into their own infrastructure as many homes and buildings are reinforced with the wood, armor and even weapons are created from Adam wood.
Due to their location and the difficulty of reaching them, Champagne is considered a fairly isolated country and with that comes with its own understanding of the powers and abilities within the world. As such, Devil Fruits are known to the people of Champagne as Witchcraft and its users male or female as Witches. Though the use of Witchcraft is not illegal in the Kingdom those who "practice" it are often looked upon with distrust.
Haki is known in the Kingdom as "Noblesse", Busoshoku Haki being called "Noblesse Bouclair" or "Noble Shield" and Kenbunshoku Haki as "Noblesse Voir" or "Noble Sight".
These names are derived from the values of the country, believing that with virtue comes strength, the noble will of a user manifests as Shield and Sight to grant them the power to overcome their foes.
