Dekisha or also known as Bon D. Jovi is a Pirate Lord of New Province and former Right hand turned Pirate Captain of the Red Bill Pirates.

Jovi was born in the New World on Jamrhea Island, home to a clan of Shandorians, who were historians and explorers. Jovi grew fascinated with the interesting history of the world, but there was a gap in history. So Jovi headed to the blue sea in search of the lost history of the world. Jovi started out his quest sneaking on to World Government dig sites, observing secret explorations of lost history or unknown treasure. Many times he would run into some danger but managed to escape. He would spend a few years on his own becoming a good ship thief and treasure hunter.

During his quest, he encounters a man named Red Bill captain of the Red Bill Pirates. He tells him of a treasure so valuable it could change the world while also revealing something known as the Void Century. Hearing this information caused Jovi to join Bill and his crew becoming his first mate. During his early years with the crew, Jovi consumed the Shizu Shizu no Mi during a raid on a marine vessel, eating a fruit that was supposed to be transported to Amsterdam Kingdom.

During The Stunting Event, Jovi earned himself the title of one of the Four Maras. Being a main factor in the battle against the world government for a Poneglyph, on Bane Kingdom , and the imprisonment of Rodger Riley. Jovi managed to escape the island and head back into sea. During the years of 1600-1605, Jovi took up the title of Pirate captain after Bill passed away from a fatal injury, this sparked an ambition in Jovi as he became more prominent and tactical as a pirate gaining his influence and attacking a world government base, New Province, turning it into a Pirate Sanctuary. He also went to establish his own Library after finding out the true history of the Ohara Incident.

It wouldn't be long before the world government team led by Zhuque Ehuang, Taner and LeBlanc Corvo, headed to destroy his world library from gaining any true attraction. Jovi would fight to protect his life's work however due to the ambush he was overpowered and fatally wounded. He managed to escape with some saved texts and documents.

Jovi was convicted of many crimes against the World Government, earning him a bounty of 575,000,000.

Physical Appearance[]

Jovi is an older man in his mid-fifties. He stands at 11’3 and weighs about 296 lbs. Jovi is a very gentle-looking man, with a thick salt and pepper beard, along with long dreadlocked hair tied back into a bun. His face is covered in scars, one across his bottom lip, left eye, and left cheek. Despite his battle scars, Jovi is handsome, bearing soft brown eyes and a bright white smile. He also wears a pair of black glasses. Jovi is a very muscular man, with big arms and chest along with his back, heading all the way to his legs, for a fifty-year-old man he is very fit. Across his neck, right chest, and right arm is a red tattoo of a Sea King and Reb Bill Duck. Of course, like most shandorians, Jovi sports a set of small white wings on his back.

Jovi is a simple man, nothing outside the regular pirate attire. He wears a white wife beater shirt, with a few bone-toothed necklaces. He wears a set of golden earrings and a nose hoop ring. He wears light blue Jean shorts with several pockets with an attached holster, that cuff at his large calves. On his feet, he wears a set of sandals.

Like most pirates, he sports a light blue sash around his waist which holds his cutlass sword. He also wears a black feathered cloak made from Elbaf.

Jovi was recruited in 1594 by the Red Bill Pirates at the age of 20. Jovi learned the ways of the sea through piracy venturing to many expeditions and landmarks. In 1599 he would take over as the Captain of the crew after the death of Red Bill.

Jovi ate the Rin Rin no Mi is a Paramecia-Type Devil Fruit that allows the user to create and manipulate whirlpools. This power is considered to be one of the most dangerous fruits to combat against in the seas. According to Hobbs, Jovi was extremely versatile and powerful when using his fruit, being able to sink 24 ships in an escape to flee the Marines. These whirlpools are powerful enough to distort ocean currents along with sinking fleets of ships with little effort, not only is his fruit powerful on the sea, but on land Jovi could sink entire towns within minutes.

Jovi travels to Wano Country to seek refuge and safety after his defeat by the World Government. He would spend the next two years of his life, healing from his injuries and acquiring new strength to face the world ahead of him.

Jovi heads to Lugdunum Island in search of a Red Poneglyph in hopes of recovering information for lost time. It turns out the island is home to a cult of Gladius Caesar and Jovi adorns a new crown of thorns.

Jovi and the Red Bill Pirates head to Marine base G-55 to steal the Giga Codex. Old foes encounter each other once more as Jovi is confronted with Corvo in a epic battle of gravity and pride.
