Bestalka is Sky Island territory that is populated by a tribe of Giants.[1] It eventually came under the rule of Charlotte Milk and the Fairy Tale Pirates, but Heidrun Thrymr later won it in a conflict with her to liberate the giant territory from the sworn enemy of the giant race.[2] With this, it became an important territory of the Ragnarok Pirates.[1]
Under the rule of Thrymr, it has become a mobile fortress for him and the Ragnarok Pirates. To control the movement of the island, Thrymr used his Soru Soru no Mi to infuse it with spirit particles of himself, his crew, and the giants of Bestalka to render it into a massive Vaettir.[3]

Bestalka is a Sky Island that formed at some unknown point. In its ancient history, several crews of Giants were shot into the air by a massive burst of water. Many of the giants landed on Bestalka. Finding the island uninhabited and no way of returning to the surface, the different giants came together to form the nation of Bestalka.

- Bestalka's name is derived from "beanstalk", which is a reference to "Jack and the Beanstalk". This is a famous fairy tale that features a giant as its main antagonist.
