The Badlands is a desert island in the New World not affiliated with the World Government. Once serving as the main base of operations for the Animal Kingdom and home to their Apex Eris, it now remains in the crews territory despite her fall.

It is known to be extremely treacherous, often lethal to those who do not know the layout of the land. This is due to the large spans of uninhabited land that are riddled with carnivorous beasts.

Boar Pit

The Boar Pit is a blood sport venue operated by Matilde. It was open before the war of empires, but is now under the ownership of the surviving crewmate. The colosseum itself is host to duels, animal fights, and chaotic sand rider derbies. While not every event is lethal many are a risky venture for anyone signing up at a shot for rewards and glory. The one rule of the pit is that every participant volunteers, there are no slaves in the events.
