"Divine Bitch" Baal is a woman hailing from the Tengu Tribe, growing up within the White Sea. After reaching adulthood she would venture down into the Blue Sea in search of Beri and treasure alike.

In the year 1606 Baal would find and consume a Logia-type Devil Fruit known as the Hie Hie no Mi, granting her the power to create, control, and transform herself into the element of Ice making her a Freezing Human (氷結人間, Hyōketsu Ningen) and granting her immense power the likes of which she'd never experienced before.

She is a Senior Officer of the Legion Pirates with a current bounty of 900,000,000.

Physical Abilities

The Tengu tribe are a race of people dwelling in the White Sea, resembling humans in almost every way say for a single addition. That addition being their large wings which grant the Tengu tribe the ability to fly. An extra set of muscles can be found in the backs of the tengu people which is what allows them to use these wings, their feathery wings being large enough to allow them to glide on the air for extended periods of time which in turn allows them to fly long distances without wearing themselves out.

Members of the Tengu tribe care deeply for their wings, holding them in high regard and taking special care to make sure they're always in top shape. While it is a cultural staple of the Tengu people it is a long held tradition due to the fact that their wings are the primary source of defense and offense for the Tengu tribe. With wings sharp enough to cut through flesh and durable enough to clash with blades, their wings allow them to hunt and defend themselves within the white sea.

Baal is an expert in using her wings to the best of their abilities as a skilled flier capable of quick maneuvers and changes in direction mid-air. When it comes to aerial superiority she is all but unmatched, able to clash in the air without losing flight stability.

Though like all Tengu, Baal prefers to remain in the air, her wings still show great service in land based combat, using them to block and parry attacks sent her way.

Baal's speed has been complimented by the fastest man in the world himself, Gladius Caesar, who, during their training made mental note that she was quicker than most. The man considering this praise an honor for him to grant to his subordinate.

Devil Fruit

The Hie Hie no Mi (ヒエヒエの実, Ice Ice Fruit) is Logia type Devil Fruit which allows the user to create, transform into, and manipulate the element of Ice. As a Logia, the Hie Hei no Mi allows the user's body to become ice and gaining logia style intangibility as a result. Though unlike many logia whose abilities allow them to become more fluid or gaseous substances like the Suna or Gasu no Mi, as Ice is a solid state the user can still be hit with physical attacks. However, this does not necessarily leave the user open for attacks nor make it any less potent of an ability than that of other Logia type fruits as even if their Ice body is shattered they can still reform without taking physical damage.

As a logia, the shift from tangibility to intangibility is near instantaneous and in this state the user is capable traveling at great speeds and molding the shape of their own ice body, able to avoid haki infused attacks by opening holes in themselves to avoid the attack entirely using this method.

As an Ice based Logia the user is capable of near instantly freezing anything they come into contact with, freezing living things such as plants and humans which the user can then shatter if they so please, resulting in instant death to the frozen being. Those frozen solid by the power of the ice logia are capable of surviving if carefully thawed out, however even in instances of being partially forzen frostbite can occur leaving permenant damage on to body of victims who suffer from it.

This ability to freeze does not stop at livng beings however as it is through the nature of this fruit as an ice based ability that they are capable of circumventing a Devil Fruit's weakness to water by freezing water that they come into contact with as in its solid state the water does not appear to induce the same weakness in Devil Fruit users as its liquid form does. As Logia users are capable of generating a seemingly infinite amount of their element, much like the Devil fruit the Hie Hie no Mi is based on, the user is too capable of generating a vast amount of ice. Allowing them to, if they so chose to do, freeze large bodies of water quickly.

Being able to generate ice, a user of the Hie Hie no Mi is capable of not only creating structures with their ice creation abilities but also more refined tools such as spears or swords. The user themselves are left seemingly resistent to the cold as a result of the logia powers, able to remain unaffected by low temperatures even without the protection of warm cloths or fire to fend off the cold.

When clashing with fire based Devil Fruits, the immense cold of the Hie is capable of clashing with and canceling out the fires of said Devil Fruits. Allowing them to counter them but seemingly not outright overwhelm them. This cannot be said for much hotter materials such as magma which can quickly melt away the ice of the Hie Hie no Mi.

Though the Hie Hie no Mi has the power to counter the Devil Fruit's weakness to water, a user cans till fall prey to it should something go wrong such as the user being too slow or knocked out when they fall into the water, meeting their end as a result. But even if they can counter their weakness to water the same cannot be said of things like sea stone which cause similar effects to that of a Devil Fruit user falling into water but also cannot be countered in the same way given its make up of stone.

Like all logia type Devil Fruits users are able to be touched and damaged through the user of Haki which allows others to touch the users true body.

Having awakened her fruit in the year 1620 during a fierce battle with The Master, Baal would unlock the ability to take her fruit's powers to the next level by reaching Absolute Zero (絶対零度, Zettai Reido) which in turn allows her to freeze normally intangible things such as Fire, Lightning, even Light are no longer beyond her grasp as she is now capable of creating ice at temperatures once thought to only be theoretical.

Haki

Haki is a mysterious ability said to exist within all living beings, most will go their entire lives without learning to control the "Will" that exists within them. It is an invisible force that those without knowledge of its existence cannot see. This will takes on many forms, Baal being a user of both forms of basic haki known as Busohoku and Kenbunshoku respectively as well as the rare, highly sought after third type known as Haoshoku or "The Color of the Conqueror".

Busohoku Haki

Busoshoku haki, also known as armament haki is a form of haki that allows the user to coat their body in spiritual energy which in turn increases their offensive and defensive capabilities. Basic busoshoku haki exists in two forms, the first being hardening which allows the user to coat their own body in their spiritual energy which in turn is what gives them this offensive and defensive boost. Increasing their attack power as well as their ability to withstand attacks, the increase in both is incredible with battles between those capable of using haki and those who are not typically ending with the loss of the one who cannot wield it.

The second usage for basic Busoshoku is that of imbuement which allows the user to imbue objects they are touching with their haki to produce a similar effect to that of hardening. Typically done with weapons, solid objects can be imbued with haki increasing their destructive capabilities. In the case of projectiles such as arrows and bullets, they too can be imbued with haki though once they are no longer in contact with the user they can only maintain this for a limited time.

In the case of Devil fruit powers, busoshoku haki can interact with them in interesting an unique ways. The most noteable of these interactions is that of giving the user the ability to touch and strike at Devil fruit abilities that make the user normally intangible such as those found in Logia-type Devil Fruits. Attacks coated in Busoshoku haki striking the user's true body regardless of their elemental state.

The second noteable interaction busoshoku has with Devil fruit abilities is that haki can take on the traits of the user's devil fruit powers. In Baal's case, her haki is cold to the touch, capable of freezing things that it comes into contact with.

Baal is a master of Busoshoku haki, her primary form of haki she chose to master it to increase her own destructive power as she witnessed its ability to strike at her true form early into her time in the New World. As such, having studied and trained in the art of Busoshoku for fifteen years now she has mastered not only basic Busoshoku but it's advanced forms as well.

The first of these advanced forms is known as Busoshoku emission, an advanced form of busoshoku haki which, as the name may suggest, allows the user to emit haki from their bodies. This is different from hardening or imbuement as it does not require a physical medium through which to travel. Instead, the haki is emitted from the body capable of traveling a short distance through the air to hit targets without requiring the user to physically touch them. Unlike coating oneself or an object in busoshoku, even with knowledge of haki emission is still an invisible force as it travels through the air.
