Alabasta is a desert kingdom in Paradise and is one of the original twenty founding kingdoms of the world government.
General Information[]
Alabasta Kingdom is one of the oldest, most historically significant kingdoms that sits halfway through the grand line’s first half, located on Sandy Island. It is also one of the largest kingdoms as it contains multiple cities as well as the Sandora River.
Geography[]
Alabasta as stated before is a desert kingdom, making the geography of the island very self explanatory. In short, Alabasta is a large desert where temperatures in the day can easily exceed a hundred degrees and sap the moisture from anything unfortunate enough to be caught out in the desert for too long. Multiple cities are separated by vast expanses of sand and in the island’s center stretches a river that leads out into the ocean.
Architecture[]
Alabasta’s architectural design is very heavily inspired by Middle Eastern culture, though styles do differ from city to city
Locations[]
Alubarna is the capital of Alabasta, being the largest individual city that the kingdom has to offer. Rich and diverse in culture Alubarna is where not only where the royal palace resides but also just outside the city itself is the Tomb of the Kings, where Royals are laid to rest in a secret underground network of tombs.
Erumalu is another city in Alabasta, and perhaps the oldest. Known as the Green City, it’s a fair change from the typical appearance of others on the island, boasting plenty of greenery like an oasis.
Nanohana is the central port city where the bulk of trading takes place and is known across the grand line for its rare and potent perfumes.
Rainbase is the newest city in Alabasta, constructed under Baji’s rule to be the catalyst that unites the entire kingdom together. While as it stands it’s an independent city, it will eventually be connected to each of the previously mentioned ones above to create one super city full of casinos and other activities. For now, only one casino resides within Rainbase, making it quite the public attraction.
